On the June 21, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown, Chelsea Green, Carmelo Hayes and Andrade won Money in the Bank qualifying matches. The men’s ladder match at Money in the Bank later featured six wrestlers, but WWE’s recap does not say SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis invited those six. A separate report about Aldis that night concerned added security at the Chicago venue.

Who qualified for Money in the Bank on SmackDown on June 21?

Three triple-threat qualifying matches took place on the June 21 episode. Chelsea Green won the women’s match, while Carmelo Hayes and Andrade won the two men’s matches, according to WWE’s episode recap.

Division Match Winner
Women Chelsea Green vs. Bianca Belair vs. Michin Chelsea Green
Men Carmelo Hayes vs. Randy Orton vs. Tama Tonga Carmelo Hayes
Men Andrade vs. Kevin Owens vs. Grayson Waller Andrade

Green capitalized after Belair hit Michin with the K.O.D. In the Hayes match, Kevin Owens took Tama Tonga’s partner, Tonga Loa, out of the action, and Orton sent Tama Tonga to ringside; Hayes then rolled Orton up. In the other men’s match, Andrade turned the momentum after Owens and Waller collided around Owens’s injury.

Who were the six men in the 2024 Money in the Bank ladder match?

WWE’s official match page lists Jey Uso, Andrade, Chad Gable, Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight and Drew McIntyre for the six-person men’s ladder match. Andrade and Hayes qualified on June 21; that episode recap does not identify the other four as winners of that night’s matches.

Did Nick Aldis invite six superstars?

The available official June 21 recap does not report Aldis inviting six wrestlers. The likely source of the “six superstars” wording is the eventual six-man ladder-match field, a separate fact from Aldis’s announcement that night.

A contemporary Wrestling Inc. report says Aldis announced extra security for the Chicago show. In the reported video announcement, he told attendees: “If you are coming to the Allstate tonight, please be patient with us.” That statement concerned venue security, not invitations to the Money in the Bank match.

How did the June 21 qualifiers differ from the next week’s?

SmackDown’s June 28 episode was a separate round of qualifying matches. WWE’s recap for that episode records wins for Tiffany Stratton, LA Knight and Naomi. Those results should not be attributed to the June 21 show.

When and where was Money in the Bank 2024 listed to stream?

WWE’s event page originally listed the show for Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with Peacock in the United States and WWE Network elsewhere. That is the original event listing, not confirmation that the event is currently available in an archive on either service.
