Identify what “crashing” means
Before changing settings or contacting support, note the exact symptom. A game that exits to the desktop is different from one that freezes, restarts the whole computer, or disconnects from a session. Record whether it happens before the main menu or during play, along with any error text. For example, “Game crashes at startup, no error message displayed” communicates the timing and whether an error appeared without assuming a cause.

- Startup exit: Does Nightingale close before the menu appears?
- In-game crash or freeze: Does it happen during play, and does the game close or remain unresponsive?
- Whole-PC restart: Does Windows itself restart, rather than only the game closing?
- Disconnect: Does the game remain open while you lose connection?

Include your PC’s relevant specifications, the point at which the failure occurs, whether the game exits, freezes, restarts the computer, or disconnects, and the exact error text—or say that none appeared. This gives support a concrete description rather than a generic report.
