The August 7, 2025 Nintendo Indie World Showcase ran for about 15 minutes and featured games announced for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, or both. The stream included new titles, release-window updates, two same-day game releases, and a planned Little Kitty, Big City update. Hollow Knight: Silksong did not appear. Here is what the event recap reported at the time; those dates are not confirmation of current release status.
When and where the showcase aired
Nintendo’s presentation began on August 7, 2025, at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. BST / 3 p.m. CEST and lasted roughly 15 minutes, according to TechRadar’s same-day recap. The broadcast was available through regional Nintendo YouTube channels and Nintendo’s official Twitch page. The recap described the showcase as covering both Switch 2 and the original Switch, but not every game was announced for both systems.

What the showcase did not include
Hollow Knight: Silksong was absent from the presentation, as TechRadar noted in its recap. The event was a broad indie-games showcase rather than a single-game update: its announcements ranged from new releases and ports to a free game update and titles already available on the day.
