That was a temporary, now-expired promotion—not a current price. Nintendo’s announced US suggested retail prices were $449.99 for the console alone and $499.99 for the bundle.
Best Nintendo Switch 2 deal: the Mario Kart World bundle
If you wanted Mario Kart World, the bundle was the best-supported console offer of the sale. Nintendo announced a US suggested retail price of $499.99 for the bundle; Cyber Monday coverage later reported it at $449 at Amazon, with Nintendo Wire also reporting that price at Walmart. The $449 figure was a temporary promotion reported during the 2025 sale, not a price guaranteed across retailers or dates. Tom’s Guide’s coverage and Nintendo Wire’s report document those snapshots.

At $449, the bundle was $50 below its $499.99 announced suggested retail price. More importantly for a buyer who wanted the game, it cost less than the console-only system’s $449.99 suggested retail price. The offer’s practical value therefore depended on wanting Mario Kart World; a lower bundle price is not a saving if you would not otherwise buy the included game.
How the console-only price compared
Nintendo announced a US suggested retail price of $449.99 for Switch 2 without the game. Deal coverage listed the console at about $449, but the cited reporting did not establish a meaningful standalone Cyber Monday discount. WIRED likewise described the system as remaining around its typical $449 price, while identifying the bundle as the way to save when buying the game and system together. WIRED’s 2025 coverage
#1 Best Overall
- The next evolution of Nintendo Switch
- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*
- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
Tom’s Guide’s live coverage also shows why sale prices need dates and context: it initially listed the bundle at $499 and described a saving versus buying the console and game separately, then later reported the $449 Amazon promotion. These are snapshots from a changing sale, not a single price that every retailer offered throughout Cyber Monday.
Other Nintendo holiday offers announced for 2025
Nintendo’s US Cyber Deals ran from November 20 through December 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT on My Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop. Beginning November 23, select retailers offered selected physical games for the original Nintendo Switch. These were holiday-game promotions, not discounts on native Switch 2 games. Nintendo said Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 3 had free Nintendo Switch 2 updates. Nintendo’s announcement

Nintendo also announced $20 off MSRP on Samsung microSD Express cards beginning November 30 at its Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO and Nintendo NEW YORK stores and select retailers. How to judge a Switch 2 offer
- Compare the right prices: Nintendo’s announced US reference prices were $449.99 for the console and $499.99 for the Mario Kart World bundle. Treat retailer promotions as separate, time-limited offers.
- Decide whether you want the included game: The reported $449 bundle was compelling for a buyer who wanted Mario Kart World; it was not an equivalent cash discount for someone seeking the console alone.
- Check the retailer and date: The $449 bundle price was reported at Amazon and Walmart during the 2025 sale. A historical report does not establish present stock, listing condition, or price.
- Keep accessory savings separate: A microSD Express card can add storage, but its discount is not a console discount. Check the card’s compatibility, capacity, and current price before buying.
- Check game platform details: Nintendo’s listed game discounts were for physical original Switch titles. Confirm the title and any Switch 2 update details rather than assuming every discounted game is a native Switch 2 release.
Are these Cyber Monday deals still available?
No. The Nintendo offers described here were for the 2025 holiday period, and the reported $449 bundle price was temporary. The available reporting does not verify October 2026 prices, stock, or listing condition. Check retailers for current offers rather than treating any 2025 price as still available.
