As of October 8, the latest confirmed U.S. Nintendo promotions in the available announcements had already ended. October deal roundups did report lower Amazon prices on select Switch 2 games, but those were dated Prime Day offers—not confirmed Nintendo holiday discounts—and may no longer be available.
Has Nintendo announced a 2026 holiday sale?
No confirmed holiday event appears in Nintendo of America’s announcements available as of October 8, 2026. The official Nintendo sales and deals page promotes digital games, DLC and merchandise and invites shoppers to check current offers; it does not establish a future holiday promotion.

What did Nintendo’s recent sales actually cover?
Customer Appreciation Sale
Nintendo of America said this September 12–26, 2026 promotion offered 30% off dozens of Nintendo Switch digital games and bundles, along with savings on select physical games, DLC, accessories, amiibo and apparel. The 30% figure applies to that promotion and those described products; it does not mean all Switch 2 games were discounted by 30%. Nintendo also cautioned that availability could vary by retailer and sales channel. Details are in Nintendo of America’s announcement.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to check for a real current discount
- Start with Nintendo’s U.S. sales and deals page and check the Nintendo eShop or Nintendo Store listing for the game.
- Match the exact title and edition. A Switch 2 edition and a Nintendo Switch edition may be different listings, so confirm the platform and format before comparing prices.
- Check the retailer’s live listing and checkout price, along with the offer’s end date and availability. Nintendo says offers and products can vary by retailer and sales channel.
- Compare the current price with the regular price shown for that same edition. A deal roundup records what a publication reported on its date, not a guaranteed price today.
Nintendo Support says digital software sales often appear through Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Store, and refurbished physical games and hardware are often available through Nintendo Store. Nintendo does not provide coupons for purchases at outside retailers. See Nintendo Support’s purchasing guidance.
