What games can you choose?
The bundle includes a code to download one title. Nintendo lists these choices:
| Game | Platform listed by Nintendo | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Mario Kart World | Nintendo Switch 2 | Racing, whether playing solo or with family and friends. |
| Nintendo Switch Sports Resort | Nintendo Switch 2 | Group-friendly sports play. |
| Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (トモダチコレクション わくわく生活) | Nintendo Switch | Social and simulation play centered on interacting with island residents. |
Nintendo’s Japan announcement describes the games and their play styles; the platform listings distinguish the two Switch 2 titles from Tomodachi Life, which Nintendo lists as Nintendo Switch software. Nintendo’s announcement uses the Japanese title for Tomodachi Life.

Japan-only language and account restrictions
This is not simply a standard Switch 2 bundle sold in Japan. Nintendo specifies that Japanese is the system’s only language, and that only Nintendo Accounts whose country/region is set to Japan can be linked to the console. The official product information does not establish that the system can be switched to English or linked to an account set to another country.

How to redeem the game code
- Choose one of the three eligible games. Nintendo says the choice cannot be changed after the code is redeemed.
- Use a Nintendo Account and connect to the internet to redeem the code through Nintendo eShop.
- Redeem by March 31, 2027. Nintendo says the code is valid through that date.
Nintendo’s Japan product FAQ says no further eligible titles are planned. The bundle’s announced information does not provide a separate-price calculation, so a specific saving versus buying the console and a game separately cannot be established from Nintendo’s published figures.

It may suit someone buying a Switch 2 in Japan who wants one of the three listed games and can use a Japanese-only system with a Japan-region Nintendo Account. The choice is about the included game, not alternative console configurations: the bundle’s hardware contents are listed as one set.
