It depends on what you mean by “coffee choice” in Nivalis Nights. In The Coffee Run, choose the exact drink matched to each customer; it is a delivery quest, not a menu-planning decision. For café menus, compare recipes by whether they are unlocked, their ingredients and appliance needs, and the Companion’s location-based estimates.
Which kind of coffee choice are you making?
- The Coffee Run: Match a customer to the order shown in the answer key below. Steam’s “Coffee Time” achievement describes the goal as: “Nivalis needs caffeine. Deliver 3 runs of coffee for Coffee PoccoCup.” Steam achievement page.
- Café menu planning: Pick from recipes you have unlocked, taking ingredients, appliances and venue fit into account. The Companion figures below are modeled estimates, not observed sales.

The secondary Coffee Run guide lists these customer matches. Confirm the customer’s in-game order prompt before selecting, particularly if a game update has changed quest details.

The guide says Bou’s job begins Friday at Cafe Poccocup and that deliveries come in groups of four, with a return to Bou between groups. It also says a wrong selection costs a small amount of standing and is crossed off rather than ending the quest. These details come from the guide, whose page was not directly available for verification; treat them as secondary-source information.

Recipe details and estimates: Egg Coffee, Spiced Shroom Coffee and Nitro Espresso Tonic. The modeled profit is simply the listed level-one price cap minus the Companion’s per-dish ingredient cost; the pages explicitly exclude staff, rent and spoilage. Sales also depend on other dishes, stock and staff.
How to choose a menu recipe
- Check availability first. Nitro Espresso Tonic requires Sake Bar level 4; Spiced Shroom Coffee is marked player-made only. The Egg Coffee page does not state an unlock condition.
- Check your inventory and equipment. Spiced Shroom Coffee is the only one of these three with a stated appliance requirement: a Blender. Make sure its mushrooms, cinnamon and ginger are available, or weigh the other recipes’ ingredient lists against your stock.
- Match the venue to the estimate, not just the largest number. Spiced Shroom Coffee’s listed high estimates are for Skyhigh Gardens and Calypso Island; Nitro Espresso Tonic’s are for Spire and Skyhigh Gardens. Egg Coffee’s lower estimates are listed for Central Canyon and Seaside Boardwalk. The figures are location estimates from the Companion model, not observed customer response.
- Use price and cost as planning inputs, not earnings forecasts. The price cap is not a promise that a dish will sell at that price or generate the modeled profit. Operating costs are excluded from those profit figures.
Which one should you pick?
For The Coffee Run, follow the customer match table and verify each order against the in-game prompt. For menu planning, Egg Coffee suits a plan built around its simpler listed ingredients and lower modeled cap; Spiced Shroom Coffee is conditional on having the Blender and its ingredients; Nitro Espresso Tonic is an option after its Sake Bar unlock, especially where the Companion’s listed location estimates align with your venue.
