The developer described its intent in the official launch announcement: “From the beginning, Nocturne was always meant to blend RPG and Rhythm.” That supports the basic comparison in the headline, not a claim that Nocturne otherwise resembles Hi-Fi Rush. The available descriptions do not establish a close match in their stories, presentation, or specific combat mechanics.

Play through a story and a large track selection
Pracy Studios advertises a story of more than 100,000 words, 101 playable tracks, and a campaign lasting more than 10 hours. These are figures from the developer’s Steam store listing, not independent measurements of play time or narrative length.
Choose a difficulty
The Steam page lists six difficulty options for newcomers as well as experienced rhythm-game players. That gives players a way to choose a challenge level, though the listing does not specify how the options alter individual mechanics.

It does not establish how many copies Nocturne has sold, how much revenue it has earned, or how many people are playing it.
The Game Rant syndicated excerpt also characterized the rating as “Overwhelmingly Positive,” but it supplied no sales or player-count figure. In this case, “massive hit” is a headline characterization of early reception, not a verified commercial result.

Steam release and optional extras
Nocturne is available on Steam. The store lists a Supporter Pack and a soundtrack, while the developer’s launch announcement says the Supporters Pack and Digital Deluxe additions beyond the base game are cosmetic. Editions, add-ons, and prices can change, so check the live Steam page for what is currently available.
The developer also said it expanded player agency in combat after feedback on an earlier demo. The announcement does not provide enough detail to compare particular combat options or determine how much that change affects the full game.
