Josiah Martin was listed as questionable for North Texas’ October 1, 2026 game at Tulsa, with his availability expected to be decided in pregame warmups. A later report said the wide receiver did not feel ready after warming up and was out for the game. The injury was not disclosed.
What happened with Josiah Martin?
RotoWire reported before kickoff on October 1 that Martin was questionable because of an undisclosed injury and that warmups would determine whether he could play. FOX Sports’ player page later carried a report attributed to Denton Record-Chronicle reporter Brett Vito saying Martin was out after he did not feel ready following warmups. These are media reports, not a direct North Texas team announcement.
What is known about his injury and return?
The reports did not identify the injury or affected body part, and they establish no diagnosis or reliable return date. A player-page estimate should not be treated as confirmation from the team.
Martin’s production before the Tulsa game
RotoWire reported that Martin had 11 receptions for 161 yards and no touchdowns through four games. FOX Sports’ player page also carried the receiving totals.
