The Born to Race Mystery Box in Neverness to Everness has 15 boxes and features the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package and Porsche 911 Turbo (930). The first box costs 50,000 Fons or 50 Annulith, and each later box costs more. The Version 1.4 patch notes say opening all 15 unlocks every reward; they do not publish the later prices or drop odds. Whether to open any box depends on the live cost, the rewards still on the board, and what else you want to spend your currency on.
Born to Race event dates and mechanics
According to the Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 patch notes, Born to Race is available from September 30, 2026, after the update until November 11, 2026, at 05:59 (UTC+8). The notes describe 15 boxes. You can open them using Fons or Annulith; the first costs 50,000 Fons or 50 Annulith, and each subsequent box costs more. Opening all 15 unlocks every reward in the pool.
The patch notes do not give the exact price at each step, the odds of individual rewards, or a complete itemized list of the pool. Check the in-game board for the next opening price and the rewards still available before spending.

Should you pull the Born to Race box?
There is no universal yes-or-no answer: decide based on the reward you want and the actual next price shown in your game. The official notes confirm that a full clear gets every reward, but do not say that any particular early opening guarantees either car. If your target appears before you have opened all 15, the announcement does not say you must continue; check the board and decide whether the remaining rewards justify another opening.
- Consider opening if one of the two featured cars or the associated completion rewards is a priority and the current price fits your plans.
- Consider stopping or saving if the remaining pool is less valuable to you than another use for your Annulith, or if the next displayed price is not worth it for your account.
An independent guide describes Fons as farmable and notes the opportunity cost of using Annulith on one limited board instead of another. Treat that as a guide’s characterization, not a rule stated in the official patch notes. Neither currency amount is a real-money price.

Born to Race vs. Everdriving
Version 1.4 also brings back the Everdriving box. The official patch notes list both boxes for the same event window and give them the same 15-box full-clear structure, first-opening price, and escalating-price rule. Choose between them by considering which rewards you value, your previous Everdriving progress, the live next price and remaining pool, and other priorities for your Annulith.
| Box | Featured vehicle and other named rewards | Progress and structure |
