- Yellow: Think of things that produce or carry electricity.
- Green: These describe being deeply affected emotionally.
- Blue: Look for names of gray colors.
- Purple: Each answer begins with a letter that can be followed by a music genre.

How the purple group works
Put a music genre after each word’s first letter: B + ROCK makes BROCK, N + EMO makes NEMO, S + PUNK makes SPUNK, and W + RAP makes WRAP.
How to approach a tricky board
Start with a rule that fits exactly
A broad association can make five or more words seem to belong together. Look for one precise relationship that works for all four members of a candidate group, then use the least flexible word as an anchor.

Check tempting alternatives
If five words appear to fit, one may be a red herring. Consider whether the word with a strong second meaning has a clearer home in another group.
Reveal only as much help as you need
