How Connections works
Connections presents 16 words and asks players to sort them into four groups of four based on a shared connection. The groups use color-coded difficulty tiers, and four incorrect guesses end the attempt. The puzzle is a daily NYT Games activity; Forbes describes subscription access to the past-puzzle archive, but access terms can change.
