Hints for Connections #845
Use these in order, stopping when you have enough to work with:
- Look for words that mean an outer boundary, endpoint, or limit.
- Find the entries associated with spiral motion.
- Think of recognizable songs performed in musicals.
- Consider what “Ed” can indicate: a person, an abbreviation, or a grammatical form.
How to think through the categories
The puzzle’s four connections call for different kinds of recognition: a direct meaning, a shared kind of motion, familiarity with musical-theater song titles, and wordplay involving the letters “Ed.” The spiral clue is especially broad: its answers are different kinds of entries linked by the motion, not by belonging to one object category.
