Hints for the June 10, 2025 Connections puzzle

Connections gives players 16 words to sort into four groups of four based on shared themes. The New York Times Help Center notes that words may seem to fit more than one theme, even though each puzzle has one solution. These clues move from broad nudges to the category names.

  1. Yellow: Think of ways to guide or settle a dispute between two or more people.
  2. Green: Consider items that enhance or help organize written content.
  3. Blue: Look for expressions or words associated with a particular decade.
  4. Purple: Each word can come before the same four-letter noun referring to a moral or legal obligation.

The NYT Help Center describes Connections as a game about finding themes between words. The daily puzzle releases at midnight in the player’s timezone.
