Why the purple group is the trickiest
The final category is based on systems or measurements split into twelve parts rather than on a shared everyday action. That makes CLOCK, FOOT, YEAR, and ZODIAC easy to overlook while solving. The body-part meanings of FOOT, EAR, and HEAD can also create misleading near-groups, so the vegetable-unit category is best confirmed by pairing BULB, EAR, HEAD, and SPEAR.
How difficult was Friday’s puzzle?
TechRadar labeled #915 “Easy” and reported a perfect solve, while Forbes described it as relatively easy. Those are individual guide-writer assessments, not puzzle-wide statistics; no published study or survey statistic for this specific game was identified.
