How the board works
Secondary solution guides describe Strands as a 6-by-8 letter board. Connect adjacent letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally; a word’s path can turn. The spangram connects opposite edges of the board. Finding three non-theme words of at least four letters is reported to unlock a hint.
One solution guide reports that COBB SALAD runs from the top edge to the bottom, starting in column four and ending in column five. Treat that as a reported board-specific detail rather than necessary to identify the answers.
