Spangram for Strands #82
COCKTAILS is the spangram. In Strands, the spangram runs between two opposite sides of the board; it identifies the shared category for the theme words.

- SOUR
- SPRITZ
Together, the six words name cocktails or a cocktail style. The answers are independently listed by WordHint and Yahoo Entertainment. Those guides agree on the puzzle number, date, clue, spangram, and answer list.

About the board paths
These answers identify the words, not their tile-by-tile routes. The available guides do not establish the exact paths on the May 24 board, so no letter coordinates are included here.
