How to use Strands’ in-game hints
- Find any three words made of at least four letters. They can be ordinary words, not just the theme answers.
- After the third qualifying word, the game reveals a hint for one of the theme words.
- To enter a word, trace its letters in order by dragging or clicking, then double-click its final letter to submit.
Correct theme words light up blue and stay marked. The spangram is a special theme word that connects opposite sides of the board; completing the puzzle uses every letter.
