Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteFor a 24/7 Malayalam news replay on YouTube, set OBS to send a stable RTMPS feed with constant bitrate (CBR), a two-second keyframe interval, and an output resolution and bitrate your computer and upload connection can sustain continuously. For H.264, YouTube recommends 10 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps, 17 Mbps for 1080p at 60 fps, or 6 Mbps for 720p at either frame rate. Test the actual source and monitor stream health before relying on the setup. A 24-hour YouTube event may not be archived at all, and replaying another publisher’s news raises both copyright and monetization risks.
Set up OBS for a continuous YouTube replay
These are starting settings, not a tested recipe: performance depends on your encoder hardware, the source files, and sustained upload capacity. Use the same kind of audio and motion as the planned replay when testing.
1. Connect OBS to your YouTube stream
- In YouTube Studio, create or open the live stream and retrieve its stream key and server information.
- In OBS, open Settings > Stream. Select YouTube as the service, or enter the server and stream key supplied by YouTube. OBS documents these controls in its streaming guide.
- Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish or share it. If it is exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio and update OBS.
YouTube recommends RTMPS, the secure extension of RTMP, for ingest. Use it when the selected YouTube service or server configuration offers it. See YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
2. Choose output resolution and frame rate
In OBS, Settings > Video separates Base (Canvas) Resolution from Output (Scaled) Resolution. The canvas is the layout OBS works with; output is the resolution sent to YouTube. Set output to the resolution you intend to stream. If the source is 1080p but you choose 720p output, OBS scales it down.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
For static news graphics, studio shots, and ordinary replay footage, 30 fps is a sensible starting point and uses less encoding and upload capacity than 60 fps. Use 60 fps only if the source benefits from it and your system can encode it reliably. OBS notes that 60 fps can be taxing; test system resources using the OBS streaming guide.
3. Set encoder, bitrate, and keyframes
In Settings > Output, configure the streaming encoder for CBR (constant bitrate) and set the keyframe interval to 2 seconds. YouTube says not to exceed four seconds. YouTube supports H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 video, plus AAC or MP3 audio; the bitrate figures below are specifically for H.264.

| Output | YouTube-recommended H.264 bitrate |
|---|---|
| 720p at 30 fps | 6 Mbps |

These are YouTube recommendations, not guarantees that a particular PC or internet connection can sustain the feed. Choose a resolution and bitrate with headroom on your real, sustained upload connection; a setting that works briefly may still fail during a long broadcast. The figures and encoder requirements are in YouTube’s live encoder settings documentation.
4. Test before treating it as production-ready
- Start a test stream using representative Malayalam news footage, graphics, and audio—not a static placeholder if the real replay contains motion.
- Watch YouTube Studio’s stream-health messages while OBS is running. Check for encoding overload, dropped frames, interruptions, and continuous audio.
- Run long enough to reveal stability problems, and verify that the stream remains healthy after the initial start. If it does not, reduce output resolution or frame rate, address encoder load, or choose a bitrate the connection can sustain.
YouTube and OBS provide encoder and preflight guidance, but the appropriate settings depend on the actual system and connection.

Plan for 24-hour playback and archives
YouTube can automatically archive a live stream when it is under 12 hours. If a stream exceeds 12 hours, YouTube warns it may not be captured at all. Do not rely on one uninterrupted 24/7 event to produce a complete YouTube replay archive. If preservation matters, keep a separate local recording; if separate YouTube archives are important, schedule shorter events and plan their transitions. See YouTube’s archive live streams guidance.
YouTube’s stream settings include auto-start and auto-stop controls, which allow the encoder to start or stop streaming. A custom stream key can be reused; the key directs the encoder feed to YouTube. Choose those controls deliberately for a continuous broadcast so an unintended stop does not disrupt the schedule. Details are in YouTube’s live stream settings.

Check rights and monetization before looping news
Having a file or permission to broadcast it does not, by itself, establish that a channel qualifies to monetize a continuous replay. YouTube’s reused-content policy concerns material taken from YouTube or another online source without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or educational or entertainment value. The policy is assessed at the channel level, and permission alone does not settle the monetization question. Copyright rules apply separately. A stream that simply loops another outlet’s bulletins or news-feed readings therefore carries a material reused-content monetization risk. Original reporting, meaningful commentary, or substantial editorial transformation may matter, but no particular channel outcome is guaranteed. Read YouTube channel monetization policies.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party material, including other live broadcasts. It may replace the feed with a placeholder, interrupt or terminate the stream, and a licensed rights-holder may still need to add the channel to a Content ID allowlist. Archived streams can receive Content ID claims after they end. Before going live, confirm rights and territory-specific license terms for every clip, soundtrack, graphic, and other element. See YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams.

Troubleshoot common OBS replay problems
| Symptom | Likely area to check | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube does not receive the stream | Service, server, or stream key | Recheck the YouTube service/server and key in Settings > Stream. If the key may have been exposed or changed, retrieve the current key and replace it in OBS. |
| Stream health reports dropped frames | Network capacity or connection stability | Check whether the sustained upload connection can support the selected bitrate. Reduce bitrate or output demands and test again. |
| OBS struggles to encode or video stutters | Encoder load, resolution, or frame rate | Check OBS performance indicators. Reduce output resolution or frame rate; 30 fps is less demanding than 60 fps. |
| Playback looks softer than the source | Output scaling | Review Settings > Video > Output (Scaled) Resolution and confirm it matches the intended stream quality. A lower output resolution downscales the source. |
| Live footage is interrupted or replaced | Third-party content detection or rights | Check the YouTube notice and resolve the rights issue. Confirm the relevant license and, where applicable, that the rights-holder has allowlisted the channel for Content ID. |
| The full 24-hour event is missing from archives | Event duration | A stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. Keep a separate recording when preservation is necessary or plan shorter events. |
