Nintendo lists The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2, releasing November 5, 2026. Amazon’s October sale is Prime Big Deal Days, running October 6–7—not the summer Prime Day event.
Is Ocarina of Time discounted for Prime Big Deal Days?
A $10 discount on the physical preorder was reported by Tom’s Guide on September 18, 2026, and an early October roundup listed it at $59, down from $69. Those reports are historical snapshots, not confirmation that the price is still available on October 7. The September report said Amazon’s discount appeared after adding the item to the cart. Before treating it as a deal, open the listing, select the physical edition, and check the price in your cart, stock, shipping estimate, and whether the offer applies to your account. Amazon’s event includes Prime-exclusive offers across more than 35 categories, but that does not establish a discount on this particular game. (Amazon announcement, September 14, 2026)
What game is on offer, and when does it release?
Nintendo’s US Store lists The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2, with a release date of November 5, 2026. The cited discount reports concern the physical preorder; they do not establish a matching digital-store discount. (Nintendo US Store)
#1 Best Overall
- This is the world edition. It has different packaging but is fully authentic and works on US region 3DS systems.
- The Legend of Zelda veterans can look forward to the Master Quest - a second quest with revamped puzzles and redesigned dungeons.
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a masterful improvement on one of the landmark releases in video game history.
- “E10+”, w/Animated Blood, Fantasy Violence, Suggestive Themes
Compare the checkout price and delivery estimate for the physical edition with the digital option available to you. The evidence here does not establish a current digital price or discount, so check the relevant store directly rather than assuming the physical preorder offer applies to both formats.
Is this the October Prime Day sale?
Amazon names its October 6–7, 2026 event Prime Big Deal Days. “October Prime Day” is used informally in deal coverage, but Big Deal Days is the precise event name. Amazon’s summer Prime Day ran June 23–26, 2026, so it is a separate sale. (Amazon event announcement; Amazon summer Prime Day announcement)

Nintendo says Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo are planned for 2027 and can unlock in-game masks. They are future products, not established Prime Big Deal Days discounts. (Nintendo US Store)
