What are the October 2026 PS Plus games?
Sony’s October announcement lists three monthly games, all available during the same claim window. The platform support differs by title:

Does one month of PS Plus give you three free months?
No. The “three” refers to the number of games in the monthly lineup, not months of membership. Sony describes monthly games as available “at no extra cost” during an active PlayStation Plus membership. The membership itself is paid, and monthly-game access is conditional on keeping it active. Which PS Plus tier includes the monthly games?
Essential includes Monthly Games; you do not need Extra or Premium to claim the October lineup. The higher tiers add separate catalog benefits:

How to claim the October games
Once the October lineup is available, sign in with the account that has the membership and add the games during the claim window. Sony also says downloads can be started remotely through a browser or the PlayStation App.
- On PS5: From the Games home screen, open PlayStation Plus → Benefits → Monthly Games, choose a title and select Download.
- On PS4: Open PlayStation Plus → Monthly Games, choose a title and select Add to Library; then download it.
What happens to the games if your membership ends?
Claiming a monthly game does not make it permanently playable without a subscription. Sony says monthly games are playable at no extra charge while your membership is active; its FAQ says Plus games remain playable while you remain an active member. If the membership expires, access to the monthly games is suspended until you renew. Sony’s PlayStation Plus FAQ covers membership access rules.

Account and console-sharing notes
Sony says the account holder must be at least 7 to join, subject to local age requirements, and membership is tied to the account. Some benefits can be shared on a primary PS4 or one PS5 when the applicable console-sharing settings are enabled; see Sony’s sharing guidance for the conditions.
