Can you transfer demo save data?
Yes. Square Enix says the free opening demo allows up to three hours of play from the beginning, and that save data carries over into the full game. The demo lets you choose a protagonist. Check your platform’s storefront for the demo and confirm that you continue with the same platform version when moving to the full game.

Which platforms is OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 on?
Square Enix lists Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, and Microsoft Store/PC. The publisher gives December 4, 2025 as the release date, with Steam specifically listed for December 5, 2025. Store listings can differ by region, so check the relevant platform storefront for the version available to you.
Choosing a physical or digital edition
Start by matching the edition to your hardware, then choose physical or digital based on how you want to own the game. The official North American Square Enix Store Collector’s Edition listing describes a physical standard game bundled with a Digital Deluxe Edition upgrade code and physical collectibles. The game disc or cartridge is shipped alongside the Collector’s Edition box rather than packed inside it. The listed collectibles are a replica Ring of the Flamebringer, original playing cards, three eight-sided metal dice, a gaming mat, an art booklet, and an arrangement music CD.

Square Enix documented a preorder bonus for orders placed before December 4, 2025: Healing Grape (M) ×5, Inspiriting Plum (M) ×5, Revitalising Jam ×2, and Icewind Mastery. Its support instructions said to start a new game, complete the prologue, speak to a bartender in a town, and choose “Collect Bonus.” The preorder cutoff has passed, so this is historical information and should not be taken as a bonus available with a new purchase.
