Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIf OneStream Live will not connect or keep a stream running on Airtel Xstream Fiber, first check whether other websites and devices also have internet. Then compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet, measure upload speed, and check the browser, stream type, and security settings. These tests narrow down where the problem may be; they do not, by themselves, prove its cause.
First, identify what is failing
Test ordinary websites on the affected device, then check another device on the same Airtel Wi-Fi. Airtel’s general Wi-Fi guidance recommends this comparison: if several devices are affected, investigate the network; if only one is, investigate that device. Airtel’s Wi-Fi troubleshooting guide also addresses the common “Wi-Fi connected but no internet” symptom.
- Several devices and websites fail: check the Airtel router/ONT and ask Airtel to investigate if service remains down.
- Other websites work, but OneStream does not: continue with OneStream-specific tests below.
- OneStream works on another trusted network, but not Airtel: this points to a network-path difference, but does not establish that Airtel is at fault.
- Only one device fails: focus on its browser, extensions, applications, and security settings.
There is no confirmed Airtel-specific OneStream outage, special Airtel configuration, or required OneStream port or endpoint list established by the official guidance reviewed for this troubleshooting path. Check with the providers for current service or account conditions rather than assuming an outage.
Check the Airtel router, ONT, and connections
Confirm that the router and ONT have power, plugs are seated, and the visible indicators are settled. Check the Ethernet connections if you use a wired device. Airtel’s Xstream Fiber troubleshooting guide identifies an RJ45 Cat5/Cat6 cable for connecting a computer to the router or ONT; RJ11 telephone cable is a different connector.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If you reboot the equipment, follow the Airtel guide’s sequence: disconnect ONT/router power until the lights turn off, wait 15–20 seconds, reconnect power, and allow the indicators to settle before testing. Router models and indicator meanings vary, so use the labels or manual for your specific device.
Do not pull, bend sharply, or attempt to repair the fiber patch cord. Airtel cautions that it is delicate and should not have acute bends. Contact Airtel if the equipment or line appears damaged.
Compare Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet
If possible, connect the computer to the Airtel router/ONT using an RJ45 Ethernet cable and test OneStream again. OneStream recommends a wired connection for greater stability. A Cat5/Cat6 cable is an optional diagnostic aid if you do not already have one; it cannot repair a fiber fault or guarantee that OneStream will connect.

If Ethernet works but Wi-Fi does not, investigate wireless coverage and placement. Airtel suggests placing the router centrally; its guidance notes that 2.4 GHz generally reaches farther, while 5 GHz can provide higher speed at shorter range. If neither connection works, return to testing other devices and websites, then contact Airtel if the broader connection is still failing.

Run a speed test while connected to the same network and by the same method (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) you use for OneStream. OneStream’s speed-test guidance recommends at least 10 Mbps upload for real-time streaming or uploading prerecorded video, with 15 Mbps or higher described as ideal. Its separate Studio quality guide also recommends at least 10 Mbps and describes 25 Mbps or higher as ideal. These are OneStream recommendations, not Airtel plan requirements or guarantees of a successful stream.
For a cleaner test, pause large downloads, cloud backups, and other bandwidth-heavy activity. If upload speed is below the recommendation or varies sharply, repeat the test over Ethernet if available and compare at a quieter time. A result from one test is a snapshot, not proof of a permanent line fault.

Check the browser, device, and the kind of stream
If you are using OneStream Studio
- Update the browser and try another supported browser.
- Temporarily disable unnecessary browser extensions that could interfere with the page.
- Close demanding applications and check whether CPU load is high.
- If the computer is struggling, lower the Studio resolution and test again.
These checks follow OneStream’s Studio quality troubleshooting guidance.
If you are streaming prerecorded video
Do not apply file checks to a live Studio connection unless you are actually using prerecorded media. OneStream’s troubleshooting category includes checks for prerecorded streams: confirm that upload and processing completed, verify the file is supported, check the schedule and destination credentials, play the media locally, and retry with a test event.
If you are using an encoder
Record the encoder and device details when escalating. The reviewed guidance does not establish a special Airtel endpoint or port configuration to enter, so do not guess at firewall rules or network values.

Check firewalls and proxies carefully
OneStream says that work-network proxies, firewalls, or other security settings can block connections needed by Studio or streaming features. A comparison on a trusted personal connection can help determine whether the issue is limited to a particular network, but it does not prove which setting is responsible.
OneStream’s firewall troubleshooting guidance describes temporarily disabling a firewall only as a diagnostic test, then turning it back on. Do not leave protection disabled as a routine fix. On a company-managed computer or network, ask the administrator before changing any security setting.
When and how to contact support
Contact Airtel through Airtel Thanks or its broadband support if multiple devices or sites fail, router/ONT indicators suggest a line problem, or both wired and wireless connections fail. Contact OneStream support if ordinary browsing works but OneStream still fails after reasonable device, speed, and network comparisons.

Include the information that helps distinguish the fault domain:
- When the issue occurred and your location.
- Device, operating system, and browser.
- Whether the workflow is Studio, an encoder, or prerecorded video.
- Whether you tested by Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and another trusted network.
- The upload-speed result and whether other devices or websites worked.
- The exact error or behavior, such as failure to connect, a dropped stream, or a video-processing problem.
Do not describe the problem as a confirmed Airtel or OneStream outage unless the provider verifies current status.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is specifically to keep an uploaded video live on YouTube around the clock, StreamNeo is a separate option from troubleshooting OneStream: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It runs the playback in the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Each slot streams the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month.
