When did Overwatch 2 Season 10 come out?
Season 10 launched on April 16, 2024. Blizzard’s announcement, published April 15, invited players to log on “tomorrow,” and the season’s release patch notes are dated April 16. Blizzard’s Season 10 announcement and the April 16 patch notes establish the launch date.

Who was the new hero in Season 10?
Venture joined the Damage roster
Venture was Season 10’s new Damage hero. Blizzard described the archaeologist’s kit as including the Smart Excavator weapon and the abilities Burrow, Drill Dash, and Tectonic Shock.
How hero access changed
Blizzard announced that players who had completed the new player experience would receive immediate access to all past, present, and future heroes, starting with Venture. The patch notes also say Venture was immediately available in Competitive Play. Venture was not a Battle Pass unlock.

What was in the Season 10 Battle Pass?
Premium Battle Pass
The Premium Battle Pass used the Mirrorwatch theme and had more than 80 reward tiers. Blizzard named these Legendary skins among its rewards:
- Agent Colomar Sombra
- Junker Symmetra
- Strike Commander Ogundimu Doomfist
- Talon Brigitte
- Captain Lacroix Widowmaker
Blizzard also said the Battle Pass offered up to 600 Overwatch Coins. That figure describes its Season 10 announcement in 2024, not a current-season reward amount.

Ultimate Battle Pass Bundle
The Ultimate Battle Pass Bundle included the Premium Battle Pass, 2,000 Overwatch Coins, 20 tier skips, and two Legendary skins: Fallen Knight Reinhardt and Arch-Commandant Amari. These are the bundle contents Blizzard announced for Season 10.
How did Mythic Prisms work?
Season 10 introduced Mythic Prisms, which players could use to choose and upgrade Mythic hero skins. Blizzard said completing the Premium Battle Pass awarded 80 Mythic Prisms—enough to fully unlock one Mythic skin under the Season 10 pricing.
