Paint to Get Rich is a Roblox tycoon and simulation experience by Toasty Works. Its core loop is to paint a canvas, display the finished work, negotiate with buyers, then spend in-game Cash on studio upgrades. Painting also earns Stars for progression, while later systems include NPC painters and Prestige. Cash is an in-game currency, not real-world income.
What is Paint to Get Rich?
Roblox describes the experience as a game about building an art studio, filling a gallery, unlocking artists and studio features, and discovering new worlds. The listing attributes it to Toasty Works and frames the goal as starting with nothing and building an art empire: Roblox experience listing. Game descriptions and availability can change, so use the live listing for the current details.
How do you get started?
- Start a painting. Choose a canvas and paint it using the controls presented in your game session. A third-party walkthrough describes mouse controls, but does not establish that those controls apply to every device.
- Display the finished work. Put the completed painting on a display stand in your studio so buyers can see it.
- Consider the buyer’s offer. Wait for a buyer, negotiate, and sell when you are satisfied with the offer. Selling is the documented route to earning Cash from your artwork.
- Put Cash into studio upgrades. The walkthrough says upgrades increase earnings and can open new worlds and places to paint. It describes buying upgrades by stepping on green buttons in the studio.
- Keep painting for Stars. Paintings earn Stars as well as sales income. Stars contribute to later progression, so keep painting rather than focusing only on Cash.
These mechanics are reported in a third-party walkthrough; it does not give exact sale values, upgrade prices, or Star thresholds: gameplay walkthrough.
How should you prioritize upgrades and NPC painters?
Cash upgrades are the direct way to improve the studio and unlock more places to paint. NPC painters are described as a passive-income option, but the walkthrough recommends treating them as supplemental rather than a replacement for painting—particularly if you are working toward Prestige requirements that include completed sales and Stars.

When deciding what to buy, compare the costs and rewards shown in your own studio at the time you play. The available walkthrough does not establish a universal best upgrade order or fixed prices.
How does Prestige work?
Prestige is described as a reset that grants a permanent Cash multiplier. Before taking it, check the live Prestige menu: the walkthrough says progression requires specified amounts of Cash, completed sales, and Stars, but does not publish the thresholds. Do not rely on guessed numbers, and make sure you understand what progress resets before confirming.
