The Pantheon of Hallownest is Hollow Knight’s fifth and final Godhome challenge. To unlock it, complete the first four Pantheons and obtain the Void Heart charm. The gauntlet contains 42 boss fights, ending with Pure Vessel and Absolute Radiance; it is optional and is not a fight against every boss in the game.
How do I unlock the Pantheon of Hallownest?
First complete the four earlier Godhome Pantheons, ending with the Pantheon of the Knight, and acquire Void Heart. Both are required to enter the Pantheon of Hallownest. Bindings are not an entry requirement: they are optional modifiers that can add difficulty and unlock some additional Lifeblood Cocoon and Land of Storms content.
How long is the challenge, and what is in it?
The sequence has 42 boss fights. A full room-by-room listing contains 53 rooms because it also counts rest stops and rooms with the Godseeker, not just battles. The gauntlet revisits many bosses from earlier Pantheons, but it is not a complete roster of every boss in Hallownest.
Expect stronger forms and notable variants, including Sisters of Battle, Winged Nosk, Pure Vessel, and Absolute Radiance. Some fights take place in arenas associated with Ascended or Radiant difficulty; an altered arena does not necessarily mean the boss has the corresponding difficulty’s health or damage.

Grey Prince Zote is conditional rather than guaranteed. That encounter is skipped if Zote was left to die in Greenpath or Grey Prince Zote was not defeated in the base game, so players may not all encounter precisely the same sequence.
What happens at the end?
The final two fights are Pure Vessel and then Absolute Radiance, at the peak of the Pantheon. Defeating Absolute Radiance completes the challenge and earns the Embrace the Void achievement.

Spoiler: ending variation. The Godmaster ending outcome depends on whether you have given the Delicate Flower to the Godseeker. Without the flower, the outcome is Embrace the Void; after giving it to her, the game shows the Delicate Flower ending.
How should you prepare?
The Hollow Knight Wiki recommends practicing difficult encounters in the Hall of Gods before attempting the full run. For bosses whose Pantheon arenas use altered layouts, practicing on Ascended difficulty can help you get used to the arena. Treat this as preparation advice rather than a guaranteed route to a win.

- Choose a loadout you can use consistently. The Wiki identifies nail damage and attack speed, longer nail reach, and spell-focused charms as useful directions. There is no single established best build; choose around the attacks you handle most reliably.
- Practice the encounters that end your attempts. Rehearse those bosses individually instead of spending every attempt learning them in the full sequence.
- Use the rest stops to recover. The sequence includes breaks between groups of fights; use them as opportunities to regroup rather than rushing ahead.
- Consider bindings only as an optional challenge. They are not needed to unlock the fifth Pantheon. Completing bindings in earlier Pantheons can provide Lifeblood masks at resting stops.
Is it literally every boss in Hollow Knight?
No. The name refers to the Pantheon’s place as Godhome’s culminating challenge, not a promise to include every boss. It omits some encounters and includes variants or stronger forms, while the conditional Grey Prince Zote fight can also make a run’s roster differ by player.
