When did Dawn of the Hunt launch?
Grinding Gear Games (GGG) scheduled the update’s playable launch for April 4, 2025, at 12:00 PM PDT / 3:00 PM EDT on PC and console. GGG’s launch-day updates later confirmed that Dawn of the Hunt was live at 3:00 PM EDT. GGG’s launch-day thread records that confirmation.
Why was there a different PC patch time?
GGG scheduled PC realms to go down and patching to begin at 1:00 PM EDT on April 4. The servers were scheduled to come back online at 3:00 PM EDT, so the patching start was two hours before the playable launch—not an earlier login time. See GGG’s launch schedule.
Which platforms were included?
GGG’s FAQ listed the standalone PC client, Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5 as supported platforms for the launch. The FAQ gives the launch time as 12:00 PM PDT on April 4, equivalent to 3:00 PM EDT. Read the official launch FAQ.

Why might the time look different in your browser?
GGG said the times displayed on its announcement page were localized to the reader’s time zone. If the account’s displayed time seemed incorrect, GGG advised checking the countdown on the game’s front page. The fixed PDT and EDT times above provide a reference if your local display differs.
