Bring a Strength Persona when spending time with her to earn the matching-Arcana bonus. You can reach rank 10 without dating her; the romance path is optional.
How to unlock Yuko’s Strength Social Link
- Join the Track and Field team and begin Kazushi Miyamoto’s Chariot Social Link. Prima Games says the team is available as early as April 23, but the exact timing of the invitation sequence can vary with your progress.
- During the early Chariot sequence, invite Yuko to walk home with you. She initially declines.
- Wait for the follow-up opportunity and invite her again. Accepting this second invitation opens Yuko’s Strength link. RPG Site and Prima Games describe this two-invitation sequence; follow the event prompts rather than relying on a particular rank label.
Once unlocked, Yuko meets on the second floor of Gekkoukan High School, according to the GameFAQs walkthrough. RPG Site lists her regular after-school availability as Wednesdays and Saturdays; check the in-game map because exceptions and calendar-specific variations are not fully established by the consulted guides.

How to earn points efficiently
Carry a Strength Persona
Before spending time with Yuko, make sure a Persona of the Strength Arcana is in the protagonist’s stock. GameFAQs reports a 1.51 matching-Arcana multiplier, and RPG Site’s displayed answer points include that bonus. The value is a game-mechanics figure reported by the walkthrough, not a real-world statistic.
Choose the Reload-specific dialogue answers
Use answers written for Persona 3 Reload, not guides for the original Persona 3 or Persona 3 Portable. RPG Site specifically warns that Reload changes Social Link dialogue and point mechanics. Its Yuko Social Link guide and Prima Games’ Reload guide provide rank-by-rank responses. Check the relevant rank there, including any answer that is marked as having no preferred option, rather than assuming every conversation has one best reply.

Romance and the rank 10 route
Romance is not required to complete Yuko’s Social Link. Prima Games confirms that you can max the link on the platonic route, while some later scenes and dialogue differ depending on the choice you make. When a late-rank conversation presents a route decision, choose the response matching the relationship you want; do not treat romance-specific dialogue as necessary for rank 10.

After an early Yuko rank, speak with her again to receive a lead connected to the Tower Social Link. Mutatsu is found at Club Escapade at night. Prima Games identifies Courage rank 2 as a requirement to start his link, while Push Square describes further Courage thresholds tied to entering or speaking with him. These refer to different actions, so check the specific in-game interaction and your current Courage rank rather than treating them as a single threshold.

Prima Games reports that completing Yuko’s link awards a Kids’ Letter, which enables fusion of Atavaka, the ultimate Strength Persona.
