Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition Patch 3.2 was reported released for PC and mobile on October 1, 2026. It adds community language support, addresses a Modron’s Maze issue affecting modded saves, and changes interface scaling, cloud-save controls, mobile file access, and dialog.tlk modding. Beamdog’s official Steam posts document the update’s beta and release-candidate stages; the reported live-release date and platform scope come from RPG Site.
What Patch 3.2 changes
New languages, with platform differences
Beamdog’s August beta announcement lists Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian, and says Czech is available on mobile. Beamdog’s initial beta post also notes Italian on PC and mobile; the October final patch summary reproduced by RPG Site lists Italian and Czech on mobile. Taken together, the notices do not establish a complete language-by-platform matrix, so availability should not be assumed identical across PC, iOS, and Android. Beamdog’s beta announcement and RPG Site’s October summary provide the language details.
Modron’s Maze save issue
Beamdog says the patch fixes an issue in which modded content could be reloaded or removed from save files when the Modron’s Maze was generated. In affected cases, this could cause areas to reset after the player left them. The fix is specifically described in relation to modded content and saves, rather than as a general overhaul of the Maze. Beamdog’s patch announcement.
Language and font handling
The update is designed to make future language updates easier. It also changes the Chinese font at the request of localization volunteers and saves font zoom separately for each language. Beamdog’s beta notes give 134% as an example of the default Chinese font zoom; that is a configuration example, not a performance measure or a universal setting. Beamdog’s beta announcement.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Interface scaling and system requirements
Scaling the interface
The later release-candidate notes describe a Graphics setting that scales the interface to fit the game window when enabled. When disabled, the interface remains at its intended 1024×768 size. This gives players a choice between a window-fitted UI and the stated reference size. Beamdog’s release-candidate announcement.
Apple Silicon and minimum OS versions
Beamdog announced native Apple Silicon support during the beta. The final patch details reproduced by RPG Site list macOS 10.15 and iOS 15.0 as minimum versions. These requirements do not mean every older Mac or iOS device is supported; device compatibility depends on meeting the stated platform requirements. Cloud saves: where the controls are now
For Steam, cloud-save control is now handled through Steam client settings and the game’s properties, rather than the old in-game option. Beamdog says saves that had already been enabled in-game continue syncing even if the Steam client setting is disabled; removing the old option from the game menu does not itself mean those existing saves stop syncing. The release-candidate announcement also says GOG Galaxy cloud saves are functioning properly. Beamdog’s release-candidate announcement.
Where to put a modded dialog.tlk
Use the later release-candidate guidance for Patch 3.2: place a language-specific override at home:/override/<language>/dialog.tlk. The global override/dialog.tlk location remains available as a fallback. An earlier beta post described a global path; the later instructions add the language-specific location, so modders should follow that newer guidance when organizing language-specific files. Mobile file access and saves
Beamdog’s mobile guidance covers access to user-accessible game data and file transfer. Some Android devices restrict access to the Android/data folder, in which case Beamdog offers exporting and importing files through Documents as an alternative. It also warns that fixing an installation with incorrect Android permissions may require reinstalling the game and advises backing up saves first. These instructions concern mobile file handling; they do not establish identical modding access on PC, iOS, Android, and console editions. Beamdog’s patch announcement.
Release timeline and scope
Beamdog announced a public beta on August 20, 2026, describing it as the first wave of changes. On September 15, it characterized an updated beta build as a release candidate for the upcoming live patch. The October 1 release date and PC/mobile scope are reported by RPG Site; the official Steam notices cited here establish the beta and release-candidate history, not the final release date.
