Sony notes that regional lineups can vary, so check your local PlayStation Store.

- Chained Echoes (PS4): A single-player, story-driven JRPG set in Valandis, with a 16-bit Golden Era style, fantasy setting and piloted mechanical suits.
Sony says Monthly Games lineups may differ by region and recommends checking the PlayStation Store on release day. See Sony’s September Monthly Games announcement.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How the two benefits differ
| Benefit | September titles | Availability described by Sony |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly Games | Sniper Elite: Resistance; MLB The Show 26; Wobbly Life; Chained Echoes | September 1 through October 5, 2026; the games had a claim window. |
| Extra and Premium Game Catalog | Eight Game Catalog games and two Premium classics listed above | Catalog access, with the lineup generally available September 15 except for individual dates specified by Sony. |
Platform support also varies: some games are PS5-only, some support both PS5 and PS4, and Chained Echoes and Metro Redux are PS4 titles in these announcements. Confirm the listing and access terms for your account in your local PlayStation Store; Sony does not provide a complete title-by-title schedule for every national store in these announcements.
