Pokémon GO’s Bellsprout Community Day took place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Trainers could catch more Bellsprout, earn boosted catch rewards, and evolve Weepinbell into Victreebel with the event-exclusive Fast Attack Magical Leaf during the event or within five hours after it ended. The schedule and offers below are historical; the event has passed.
When was Bellsprout Community Day?
The event ran Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Community Day hours are set for each local time zone, as explained by the Niantic Help Center. Bellsprout appeared more frequently in the wild, and the official announcement noted that Trainers might encounter a Shiny Bellsprout; it did not specify a numeric Shiny rate. How to get Magical Leaf on Victreebel
Evolve Weepinbell during the event or by 10:00 p.m. local time on April 20—five hours after the 5:00 p.m. event end—to receive a Victreebel that knows the Fast Attack Magical Leaf. The announcement listed the move’s power as 10 in Trainer Battles and 16 in Gyms and raids. It did not state that a Fast TM could teach Victreebel the move, so the documented method was evolving Weepinbell within the specified window.
Community Day bonuses and activities
Most bonuses below were active only during the 2:00–5:00 p.m. event window. Two trade bonuses continued until 10:00 p.m. local time.

The event also included snapshot surprises, Field Research, PokéStop Showcases and event-themed stickers. Field Research rewards could include additional Bellsprout encounters, Stardust and Great Balls.
Weepinbell four-star raids after the event
From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time on April 20, Weepinbell appeared in four-star raids. Defeating one caused additional Bellsprout to appear around that Gym for 30 minutes. Those Bellsprout had the same Shiny chance as the ones appearing during the three-hour Community Day; the announcement did not give a percentage. These raids accepted Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes, but not Remote Raid Passes.

Historical tickets and bundles
The 2024 announcement listed a US$1.00 Special Research story, a US$4.99 Web Store Community Day Box, and in-game bundles priced at 1,350 and 480 PokéCoins. The Web Store box was described as containing ten Ultra Balls, one Elite Charged TM and one Special Research ticket. These were offers listed for the April 2024 event; the announcement does not establish whether any remain available now.
