Pokémon GO’s Bounsweet Community Day took place on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. It has ended. Its main evolution reward was High Jump Kick for Tsareena: evolve Steenee during the event or within five hours after it ended to get the Charged Attack.

The event ran Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Bounsweet appeared more frequently in the wild, and each encounter had a chance to be Shiny. These dates and event details come from Niantic’s May 7, 2024 announcement; the event is no longer active.
How did you get High Jump Kick Tsareena?
Evolve Steenee into Tsareena during the three-hour event or within five hours after it ended. Tsareena evolved in that window learned the Charged Attack High Jump Kick. The move window was a limited-time event perk, not a currently available evolution bonus.
What bonuses were part of the event?
Catch bonuses
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance of receiving Candy XL from catches for Trainers level 31 and up.
Egg distance
Eggs placed into Incubators during the event required one-quarter of their usual hatch distance. The condition applied to Eggs put into Incubators during the three-hour event.

Incense, Lures, snapshots, and trades
- Incense, except Daily Adventure Incense, and Lure Modules activated during the event lasted three hours.
- Taking snapshots during the event could trigger a surprise.
- Trainers could make one additional Special Trade, for a maximum of two that day, and Trades cost 50% less Stardust. Niantic marked the trade bonuses with an asterisk and noted that they were subject to the event’s stated timing caveat; consult the announcement for its original qualification.
What research and ticket offers were available?
Event-themed Field Research could reward Stardust, Great Balls, and additional Bounsweet encounters. A separate ticketed Special Research cost US$1.00 or the local equivalent and offered additional encounters and item rewards. Both were limited to the May 2024 event and are no longer available.
What happened after the main event?
Four-star raids featuring Steenee ran after the three-hour Community Day. After a successful raid, Bounsweet appeared around that Gym for 30 minutes. Those post-raid Bounsweet had the same Shiny chance as Bounsweet during the main event.
