This retrospective guide records what the event offered; check Pokémon GO’s official announcements for event details and current official notices before planning for a future Community Day.
When was Rookidee Community Day?
The event ran Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Rookidee appeared more frequently in the wild, and the official announcement said Trainers might encounter a Shiny Rookidee if lucky; it did not publish a numeric shiny rate. Community Day schedules are timezone-specific, according to the Pokémon GO Help Center.

How could you get Air Cutter on Corviknight?
During the event, and afterward through September 6, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time, evolving Corvisquire produced a Corviknight that knew Air Cutter. That evolution window has ended. The announcement listed Air Cutter at 45 power in Trainer Battles and 55 power in Gyms and raids; these are in-game move power values, not player-performance statistics. What bonuses were active during the event?
Most bonuses applied during the three-hour Community Day. Two trade bonuses continued until 10:00 p.m. local time. The event page marked those longer-running bonuses with an asterisk.

What research was available, and what were the deadlines?
There were two separate research opportunities. Both have expired; the ticket was an optional paid offer, while timed research required logging in during the event.

The Timed Research announcement also said evolving Corvisquire during its week-long period could award Air Cutter on Corviknight. Ticket terms stated that purchases were nonrefundable subject to applicable law and included restrictions on gifting. These were conditions of a past offer, not a current purchase opportunity. Details appeared in the official event announcement.

The event announcement recommended the Community Day map for finding Community Ambassador events and popular parks, and mentioned Campfire as another way to locate meetups. It clarified that parks marked on the map were informational and were not hosted or operated by Niantic. For a future Community Day, consult current official community listings rather than relying on this expired event page. Pokémon GO also reminded players: “Please be aware of your surroundings when playing Pokémon GO.”
