What were the season’s main features?
Niantic describes a Pokémon GO season as a period shaped by themed events, Pokémon debuts, and other changes. Shared Skies combined recurring seasonal activities with rotating battles and summer events.
- Monthly research: Free Timed Research was offered each month.
- PokéStop Showcases: Showcases were scheduled for Saturday–Sunday and Monday–Tuesday.
- Themed stickers: Players could obtain them from PokéStops, Gifts, or the in-game shop.
- GO Battle League: Listed formats included Ultra Premier, Master Premier, Summer Cup, Fossil Cup, and Great League: Remix.
- Community Days: The season page listed June 9, June 22 (Community Day Classic), July 21, and August 31, 2024. These dates are historical, not upcoming events.
What were the Shared Skies season bonuses?

Necrozma appeared in five-star raids beginning with the in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events. During the global event, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma were featured in five-star raids, according to the season overview.

Fusion let players combine Necrozma with one of two Pokémon using the corresponding Fusion Energy:
- Dusk Mane Necrozma: Necrozma fused with Solgaleo using Solar Fusion Energy.
- Dawn Wings Necrozma: Necrozma fused with Lunala using Lunar Fusion Energy.

What was the Grow Together ticket?
Grow Together was a limited-time paid offer, separate from the season’s free features. Niantic announced it at US$4.99 or the local pricing equivalent. The purchase window, research deadlines, and bonuses have passed; the ticket cannot be treated as a current offer. See the official Grow Together announcement for its historical terms.

The premium Timed Research included encounters with Galarian Farfetch’d, Feebas, Swirlix, and Tandemaus, plus two Lucky Eggs, nine Rare Candies, two Star Pieces, and two Incense. Tickets could not be purchased with PokéCoins. Niantic stated that purchases were nonrefundable, subject to applicable law and the exceptions in its announcement.

Why did wild Pokémon and other rotations vary?
Seasonal Pokémon GO changes can affect wild spawns, Eggs, raids, and Mega Raids. Niantic’s Seasons help page also notes that wild Pokémon availability can differ by hemisphere. GO Battle League seasons align with the broader in-game seasons, with formats rotating on the same three-month schedule.
