To track Pokémon, Wild Zones, battle areas, missions, and landmarks in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, use a third-party interactive map such as the Pokeos map described by MeriStation. Nintendo also offers an official full-view map entry point, but its separate printable is a spot-the-Pokémon activity—not a live, filterable location tracker.
Interactive map options for Lumiose City
| Resource | What it offers | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Pokeos interactive map, as described by MeriStation | MeriStation reports categories for Pokémon, Wild Zones, battle zones, TMs, side missions, and other city locations. | Looking for a specific encounter or checking a location category. |
| Nintendo’s official game page | Includes a “Discover the Map” full-view entry point; the page presents Lumiose City and the game. | Viewing the city map in an official game overview. |
| Nintendo Australia printable activity | A downloadable static map activity asking readers to spot Pokémon, published January 15, 2026. | Printing an activity, rather than locating live game markers. |
These resources serve different purposes. MeriStation’s description identifies Pokeos categories, but does not establish that its current map includes every marker or encounter. A community map announcement separately advertises layers such as spawns, Alpha encounters, shops, items, missions, benches, dungeons, ladders, Holovators, and obstacles; those are the project’s advertised categories, not independently verified coverage.
A commenter on that community post reported a missing Alpha Swablu marker. That report is not an independently confirmed current defect, but it illustrates why a map should be treated as a navigation aid rather than proof that a checklist is exhaustive. [Community map announcement and discussion]
How to orient yourself in Lumiose City
Start with Prism Tower, which stands at the city’s center, and Hotel Z, the player’s base. The surrounding city mixes shops, cafés, restaurants, parks, and waterfront areas, so a map can help connect urban landmarks with greener spaces and encounter locations. The official description frames Lumiose as an urban redevelopment project intended to make the city a place for both people and Pokémon. [The Pokémon Company: Lumiose City]

Finding Pokémon and Wild Zones
Wild Zones are designated areas to explore for Pokémon, and the official gameplay guidance says they can be explored during the day or at night. Pokémon can also be encountered outside Wild Zones, so a Wild Zone layer alone may not cover every search. [The Pokémon Company: “Making the Most of Your Adventure,” July 22, 2025]
Locating battle areas
The Z-A Royale takes place at night in battle zones. If you are looking for a battle location rather than a wild encounter, use a battle-zone category when the interactive map provides one; MeriStation reports that Pokeos includes battle zones. [MeriStation’s Pokeos map report]

Checking missions, TMs, and city points
For objectives and collectibles, look for mission and TM categories on the Pokeos map as reported by MeriStation. Other marker types—such as benches, shops, ladders, or Holovators—are advertised by a separate community project, so check the map’s own legend and filters instead of assuming those layers are present on every map.

The map is for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, whose Nintendo product listings distinguish the Nintendo Switch version from the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Nintendo’s official game page labels the game available now. The city-map resource itself is not a separate purchase or a requirement to play.
