Were new evolutions and forms officially confirmed?
The cited leak discussion does not authenticate any specific new evolution or form. Nintendo’s official announcements provide context about the games, but they do not validate a leaked list. Treat individual claims circulating in fan posts or images as unverified unless they can be matched to an official reveal or the released games.

What was known about the story?
Nintendo described Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet as adventures with three story paths woven through the player’s journey. That is official story context, not confirmation of any particular leak about characters, events, or endings. What differences between Scarlet and Violet were official?
Nintendo said that some Pokémon species differ depending on which version a player buys. This confirms that version-specific Pokémon are real, but it does not validate leaked lists or establish that a rumored species belongs to one version. How did fan communities handle spoilers?
Community rules were not the same as official Nintendo policy. In a November 11, 2022 moderator post, r/PokemonMasters described spoiler-labeling expectations for its own community.
