When did Pokémon Destined Rivals come out?
The English expansion Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals launched May 30, 2025, according to The Pokémon Company International’s May 20, 2025 product showcase and its Elite Trainer Box product listing. Pokémon’s showcase says to look for the products where the Pokémon TCG is sold; it does not establish what retailers have in stock now.
How could players get Destined Rivals cards before release?
Selected retailers began selling the Destined Rivals Build & Battle Box for prerelease events on May 17, 2025. Pokémon said the box would be more widely available when the expansion launched on May 30. That describes the original prerelease schedule, not present-day availability. What is in the Destined Rivals set?
The set’s showcase frames the expansion around Team Rocket and Trainer partnerships. Pokémon counted over 45 Team Rocket’s Pokémon cards and over 85 Trainer’s Pokémon in total in the expansion. Those are card counts, not sales or market figures.
