Pokémon officially announced the Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising expansion on March 12, 2026, and set May 22, 2026, as its release date. The announcement did not mention leaks, so the official details confirm the reveal and release—not what may have circulated beforehand.
Was Chaos Rising officially announced after leaks?
The Pokémon Company International’s March 12 announcement is the official reveal of Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising. It does not discuss leaks or identify any information that appeared before the announcement. The official pages therefore do not establish whether purported leaks existed or whether any of them matched the set. Read the official announcement.
When did the expansion come out?
Pokémon announced May 22, 2026, as the release date. That date has passed; Pokémon’s UK notice states that the expansion was available as of May 22. Check the availability announcement.
What did Pokémon confirm about the set?
The March announcement described the expansion as containing more than 120 cards, including more than 20 Trainer cards and over 35 cards with special illustrations of Pokémon and Trainers. These are Pokémon’s stated thresholds, not exact card totals.

Which Chaos Rising products can players look for?
Pokémon’s product showcase covers collection formats and says Build & Battle Boxes were offered at local game-store prerelease events, with wider availability from the expansion’s release. The right format depends on whether you want packs for collecting or a product tied to prerelease play; the official material does not promise particular pulls or a competitive advantage. See Pokémon’s product showcase.
Elite Trainer Box
The set has an official Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box. Pokémon’s UK product gallery lists its launch date as May 22, 2026, and identifies a Pokémon TCG Live code card among the contents. Consult the listing for the product details applicable to your region; price and retailer stock can change. View the official Elite Trainer Box listing.

Does Pokémon’s availability notice mean Chaos Rising is scarce?
No. Pokémon Support’s May 26, 2026 notice said high demand was affecting availability of some TCG products and that Pokémon was working to print more and reprint impacted products. It discusses products generally, not Chaos Rising stock at any particular retailer. Check retailers or local game stores for current availability rather than treating that notice as a set-specific stock update. Read Pokémon Support’s availability update.
