Roblox has no single set of admin commands that works in every experience. Each experience’s developer chooses or builds an admin system, sets its command prefix, and decides who has permission. For a working command list, check the experience’s own help interface rather than relying on a generic list labeled “2023.”
Why Roblox admin commands vary by experience
Admin commands are part of an experience’s own tools, not a universal Roblox feature with one platform-wide command catalog. Roblox’s Creator Hub offers a developer sample that demonstrates an admin system using TextChatCommands; its command functions have permission levels based on group rankings or a manual override in the Admins module. That is an example developers can implement, not a list of commands available everywhere. As a result, a command’s name, prefix, available arguments, and required rank depend on the system and configuration used in that particular experience. A command listed for one game may be unknown or unavailable in another.
How to find commands you can use
Check the experience’s help tools
If the experience uses Kohl’s Admin, its usage documentation says players can enter ;cmds to see commands available to them. The same documentation describes opening a PC command bar with ; and entering commands through Roblox chat. These instructions only apply when Kohl’s Admin is installed and enabled, and its prefix may have been changed. See Kohl’s Admin usage for current details.

Use the dashboard when it is available
Kohl’s Admin’s UI guide describes a dashboard near the Roblox menu. Its command section lists default command names, alternatives, required information, and descriptions; the guide also covers controls usable on mobile. The dashboard and its directions are specific to Kohl’s Admin, not a universal Roblox menu. Kohl’s Admin UI documentation has the relevant interface details.
Ask the experience’s owner or check its own documentation
If an in-game help command or dashboard is absent, consult the experience’s description, community or official support channel. The developer can confirm which admin system is installed and whether players have access to it.

Kohl’s Admin command examples
The following examples are documented for Kohl’s Admin, and are not universal Roblox commands:
;size me 2— an example of changing your own size.;fly me— an example of using the fly command on yourself.
These examples assume Kohl’s Admin recognizes the semicolon prefix and that your role has permission to use the commands. Kohl’s Admin’s documentation says prefixes are configurable. Its configuration guide includes semicolon and colon as example prefixes, a chatCommands setting, and role-based command permissions. It also describes different role arrangements in its new and legacy loaders, so configuration details can depend on which loader is in use. See Kohl’s Admin configuration documentation.

Why an admin command may not work
- The experience uses another system. A Kohl’s Admin command may not exist in an experience using a different admin system—or no player-facing admin system at all.
- The prefix differs. A developer or configuration may change the prefix, so a command entered with
;might need a different prefix. - Your role lacks permission. Admin systems can restrict commands by rank or role. Roblox’s sample uses group ranking or a manual override; Kohl’s Admin documents role-based permissions.
- The syntax or required information is wrong. Check the installed system’s help list or dashboard for the exact command name and arguments.
- The documentation may describe a changing version. Kohl’s Admin says its system is in active development and subject to change. Its current instructions should not be treated as proof of how a 2023 version worked. See its documentation.

The year in the title is best treated as a historical label, not a guarantee that a command still works or a claim that a ranking was measured. The available documentation does not establish an authoritative, exhaustive list of the most popular Roblox admin commands in 2023, nor a popularity ranking for that year. A list without a named system, version, prefix, and permission assumptions can therefore mislead: it may combine commands that were never available together.

- Where players can see commands, descriptions, and required arguments.
- How permissions are assigned, such as by group rank, role, or manual override.
