OpTic Texas announced Amer “Pred” Zulbeari’s release on March 26, 2025. Six days later, on April 1, Insider Gaming reported that Pred had signed with the Vegas Falcons. “Vegas Falcons” was the team name in use at the time; it is a historical roster update, not the Falcons’ current label.
What happened?
OpTic Texas announced Pred’s release from its roster on March 26, 2025, according to Breaking Point. On April 1, Insider Gaming reported that he had signed with the Vegas Falcons, identifying him as Amer “Pred” Zulbeari and describing him as a reigning Call of Duty League champion at the time.
The league’s official match archive records Vegas Falcons playing OpTic Texas on April 25, 2025, confirming that Vegas Falcons was the team name in use that season: Call of Duty League match record.
Why did Pred leave OpTic Texas?
The available reports establish the sequence of the release and signing, but do not give a definitive personal or organizational reason for the move. Neither a direct statement from Pred nor a sourced explanation from a team representative is established here, so attributing a specific motive would go beyond the confirmed details.

What are the teams called now?
The names are time-specific. Call of Duty League materials for the 2026 season list Riyadh Falcons and FaZe Vegas rather than Vegas Falcons. Pred’s profile identifies him with Team Falcons. These later labels should not be substituted for the Vegas Falcons name used in the April 2025 report and match record. Check the league’s 2026 schedule and Pred’s X profile for current-facing information, which can change.
