Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, 2026, and is exclusive to Prime members. Console games are among the categories covered by current deal reporting, but Amazon’s advertised “up to 66%” figure applies to its broad event selection—not to a verified Nintendo Switch, PS5 or Xbox game discount. Check each listing for its live price, platform, edition, seller and eligibility before buying.
What the 66% claim means for game deals
Amazon’s U.S. event roundup advertises discounts of up to 66% across its overall selection. The available evidence does not establish that any Switch, PS5 or Xbox game is discounted by 66%, so treat that number as an event-wide maximum, not a game-specific promise. Amazon says, “All deals and availability are subject to change.” (Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days roundup.)

Which console games are included?
Current third-party coverage reports offers for PS5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and Xbox. That coverage can help identify games to check, but it does not establish a complete set of live Amazon listings or confirm their prices. Verify each deal on its retailer product page. (FPSHUB’s console game-deal roundup.)
Nintendo Switch and Switch 2
Confirm whether a listing is for an original Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 edition, and check compatibility if you are buying for a particular console. A game title alone does not establish which version the offer covers.

How to check whether a listing is a good deal
- Open the exact product listing and confirm the platform and edition, including Switch or Switch 2 where relevant.
- Check the price currently shown and the price at checkout. Compare the actual amount payable with the reference price displayed on that listing rather than relying on an event-wide discount headline.
- Review the seller and marketplace, and confirm whether the listing requires Prime eligibility. Amazon says the event is exclusive to Prime members.
- Recheck availability and price immediately before placing the order; Amazon notes that both can change.
