What the Android version includes
This is the full The Lost Crown adventure, not a separate mobile spin-off. Ubisoft says the mobile edition retains 100% of the original release’s content. Adapted by Ubisoft Da Nang, it follows Sargon through the cursed Mount Qaf in a 2.5D action-adventure built around metroidvania-style exploration, combat, acrobatic platforming, environmental puzzles and time-based abilities. The mobile release also adds options aimed at touch play and accessibility; content parity does not establish identical graphics, resolution or performance to PC and console editions.

Ubisoft announced the Android and iOS release for April 14, 2025, and confirmed the mobile version was available through Google Play. Ubisoft’s availability announcement is the official reference for the release and store route.
How the free trial and full-game purchase work
You can try the beginning of the game for free. A single in-app purchase unlocks the complete adventure; Ubisoft does not describe this as a subscription-only release. The free opening lets you check whether your device runs the game well and whether touch controls suit you before paying. The launch discount Ubisoft advertised was scheduled to end May 5, 2025, so it is historical rather than a current price offer. Price and regional availability can vary; check the live Google Play listing for the amount shown to your account.

Touch controls, controllers and mobile assists
The touchscreen layout is customizable and remappable, with mobile-oriented button presentation. Ubisoft also confirms external-controller support. Since combat timing, parries and precision platforming can be demanding, a supported controller is worth considering if you prefer physical controls. That is practical advice, not a claim that touch play has been independently measured against a controller. Check Ubisoft’s controller support page for current compatibility and mapping guidance.
Optional mobile assists let players adjust the challenge rather than requiring one control style:

The mobile version also includes customizable controls, control remapping, adaptable enemy difficulty and accessibility options carried over from the original release, alongside its mobile-specific additions. Device compatibility and performance
Ubisoft targets recent-generation phones and tablets and says the game can reach 60 frames per second on recent devices. That is a qualified capability, not a guarantee for every Android device or every session: hardware, settings and heat during extended play can affect performance. Ubisoft’s announcement does not provide a complete Android minimum-specification table, so do not rely on an assumed chipset, RAM amount or Android version.

Before purchasing, open the game’s listing in Google Play on the device you plan to use. The store’s compatibility result is the practical check for that model and region. For further device-specific information, consult Ubisoft’s Android support hub. Older phones may be marked incompatible or may struggle even if installation is available.
Offline play and moving between devices
Ubisoft says the mobile game can be played offline, making it suitable for travel once installed. Downloading requires an internet connection, and initial setup or purchase validation may depend on Google Play or device settings. Offline play should not be taken as confirmation that cloud saves, account functions or progress synchronization work without a connection.

Ubisoft has a support article for transferring progress between devices, but the linked support hub alone does not establish whether transfer works between Android and iOS, whether a Ubisoft account is required, or how purchase entitlements and save data behave after changing Google accounts. Check the current instructions in Ubisoft’s Android support hub before changing devices. Do not assume cross-buy or cross-platform saves based only on the game being available on multiple platforms.

The Android version makes sense for players who want the complete metroidvania in a portable, offline-capable form and value adjustable controls or challenge assists. The free trial is the best way to judge touchscreen comfort and performance on your own phone. If precise inputs matter most, try a supported controller. Players with older or unsupported hardware, or those expecting an existing PC or console purchase to unlock the mobile version automatically, should verify compatibility and account terms before buying.
