Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launched on iOS and Android on April 14, 2025. The mobile version adapts the action-platformer for touch screens, supports external controllers, and, according to Ubisoft, retains the original release’s content. You can try the introduction for free; unlocking the full game is a separate in-app purchase.
Is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on mobile?
Yes. Ubisoft released the mobile version for iOS and Android on April 14, 2025. Its launch announcement offered a free trial covering the introduction, with the full game available as an in-app purchase.

The game is an action-adventure platformer inspired by Metroidvania games. You play as Sargon, sent to rescue Prince Ghassan in Mount Qaf, a mythological Persian setting shaped by a time curse. Combat, acrobatic platforming, puzzles, and time-based abilities are central to the adventure.
What’s adapted for mobile?
The mobile edition offers customizable touch controls as well as external-controller support. Ubisoft also says the adaptation supports remappable controls and 60 FPS on recent-generation devices; that is the publisher’s stated capability, not a measured guarantee for every phone or tablet.

Store descriptions list optional aids including auto-potion, auto-parry, an optional shield, a direction indicator, and a wall-grab hold setting. Apple’s version notes also mention auto-hit and a Time Lord speed setting that can reduce game speed to 75%. These options can make touch play more adjustable, but the available descriptions do not establish that every aid appears identically on both platforms.
Touch controls or an external controller?
Both are supported, so the choice depends on how you prefer to play. Touch controls are built into the mobile edition and can be customized; an external controller is an option if you would rather use physical buttons and sticks. The official listings do not establish that one input method is better.

If you are considering a controller for mobile gaming, check that the specific model works with your device and operating system. No particular controller model has been verified for this game.
Does the mobile version include the full game, and can it be played offline?
Ubisoft’s mobile description says the version keeps the original release’s content, and Apple’s release notes describe it as retaining 100% of that original content. Apple’s listing also says the game can be played offline.

That claim refers to the original release’s content, not necessarily every extra in a separately described edition. Ubisoft lists the Complete Edition with the base game, the Mask of Darkness story DLC, outfits, an amulet, and a digital adventure guide. Do not assume those Complete Edition extras are included in the mobile app unless the store listing for your platform says so.

Requirements and prices depend on the platform and storefront region. The US App Store listing specifies iOS 14 or later, an A12 Bionic chip or later, and a 3 GB app size. Those are Apple’s stated requirements for that listing; the consulted Google Play listing does not provide a stable, globally applicable Android minimum requirement.
At the time the US Apple listing was accessed, it showed the full-game unlock as a $4.99 in-app purchase. That is a regional, time-sensitive storefront price, not a universal price or a guarantee of today’s amount. Google Play confirms a full-game in-app unlock but does not establish one amount that applies across regions. Check the live listing for your platform and country before downloading or buying.
