Is PlayStation Network down now?

The page also noted difficulty with Account Management/Create Account on the web, beginning at 12:08 a.m., and warned that wider internet issues could affect the experience. The page’s message for the web account issue read: “You might have difficulty signing in or creating an account. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. What caused the outage?
The reviewed reporting does not establish a confirmed technical cause or a Sony postmortem. How to tell a PSN outage from a local connection problem
Check the official status categories rather than relying on an outage headline or user-report tracker alone. If Sony lists the relevant service as affected, the problem may be platform-side; if services are running but your console still cannot connect, the fault could instead involve your account, console, game, or local network.
