Version 0.24.0 is also not the newest version in that archive. Check Google Play or the official PUBG Mobile Lite website first; don’t assume an old or beta-labeled APK will install, sign in, or connect to the game today.
Is PUBG Mobile Lite 0.24.0 Beta official?
The version number is real; the official-beta claim is unconfirmed. APKMirror lists PUBG Mobile Lite 0.24.0 as a release dated December 15, 2022. Separately, APKPure labels a package “BETA PUBG MOBILE LITE 0.24.0,” with a February 21, 2023 release date and package ID com.tencent.iglitece. That third-party label does not establish that Tencent or Level Infinite distributed or endorsed it as an official public beta.
| Detail | Production app | Beta-labeled listing |
|---|---|---|
| Package ID | com.tencent.iglite |
com.tencent.iglitece |
| Listing source | Google Play; publisher shown as Level Infinite | APKPure, a third-party listing |
| Official confirmation of a 0.24.0 public beta | Not established by the cited listing | Not established by the cited listing |
| For an ordinary installation | Prefer the official distribution route where available | Not the recommended default |
A different package ID means the beta-labeled app is not simply identified as the same production package. It may install or update differently, and the listing alone does not establish its servers, account compatibility, or support status. Do not treat “beta” in a download-site title as publisher authentication.
What is version 0.24.0, and is it the latest?
APKMirror’s archive lists 0.24.0 on December 15, 2022, with armeabi-v7a and arm64-v8a variants. The same archive lists later version entries, including 0.25.0, 0.27.0, and 0.26.0. Its displayed chronology places 0.26.0 after 0.27.0, so the entries do not establish a straightforward release sequence; they do establish that 0.24.0 was not the latest version listed after 2022. See the 0.24.0 archive page.

An archived release is not proof that the build remains supported or can still connect to live servers. Tencent’s game agreement says older versions may become unusable after a new version is released.
Where to get PUBG Mobile Lite
- Check Google Play first. Open the PUBG Mobile Lite listing. Availability and compatibility can vary by country, device, and account.
- If Play is unavailable, check the official site. The official help page directs users to visit pubgmlite.com, choose “Download APK,” and open the downloaded file. It recommends downloading over Wi-Fi. The site’s APK option does not, by itself, confirm that the offered file is version 0.24.0.
- Use an archive only if you specifically need an older build. An archive is not the publisher’s own download server; check the exact file, package, and architecture, and do not assume that a similarly named APK is authentic or current.
The official site describes the installation package as approximately 500 MB, while Google Play describes about 600 MB of free space. These are different publisher-facing estimates, not a guarantee of the exact download size or the total storage the game will need after installation and resource downloads.

Android requirements and APK architecture
Google Play describes the game as designed for devices with about 1 GB of RAM and calls for approximately 600 MB of free space. Meeting those figures does not guarantee that a particular phone can install or run the game: Android version, processor architecture, graphics support, additional storage, and regional or service availability also matter.
| Archived 0.24.0 variant | Android version stated in archive | What to check |
|---|---|---|
armeabi-v7a |
Android 4.3 or later | Device must support the listed 32-bit ARM architecture. |
arm64-v8a |
Android 10 or later | Device must support the listed 64-bit ARM architecture. |
Those Android-version labels apply to the specific archived 0.24.0 variants, not every release of PUBG Mobile Lite. If you install through Google Play or the official APK route, let that route handle compatibility where possible rather than guessing from the phone’s age. APKMirror reports that its archived files are signed by Level Infinite/Tencent and provides certificate fingerprints; that report applies to those specific files and is not an independent check of every copy elsewhere.

How to install the official APK
- Open the official PUBG Mobile Lite website and choose “Download APK,” following the route described on its help page.
- Download over Wi-Fi if practical, then open the downloaded APK from the browser or your file manager.
- If Android blocks the install, open the prompt or your device’s security settings and allow that browser or file manager to install unknown apps. The exact settings path varies by Android version and device manufacturer.
- Return to the APK and complete installation. Launch the game, let it download any required resources, and sign in with an account method the game supports.
- After installation, turn off the “install unknown apps” permission for that browser or file manager if you no longer need it.
If installation, updates, or login fail
Android says “App not installed”
- Check that the APK’s architecture and Android-version requirements match the device.
- Confirm there is enough free storage and download the file again in case it was incomplete or damaged.
- A conflicting package or signing certificate can prevent an APK from replacing an existing installation. Avoid mixing the beta-labeled package with the production app.
- Some downloads are split packages or components that need a bundle installer; a single APK file may not be sufficient. Use the official route where available, and don’t install extra files from an untrusted download page.
- Before uninstalling an existing copy to resolve a conflict, secure account access. Tencent’s agreement warns that guest-account data may be deleted or unrecoverable after uninstalling or changing devices.
The game asks for an update or will not log in
An older client may no longer work after the service requires a newer version. Check the official download route for an available update; reinstalling an archived 0.24.0 file will not make an obsolete client current.
The game crashes or lags
The official FAQ recommends closing background processes and restarting the device, checking battery level and network connection, avoiding excessive heat (including playing while charging), lowering graphics quality, and disabling graphics features such as anti-aliasing if needed. These steps may help with performance, but do not resolve a version, device-support, or server-access problem.

Is the 0.24.0 “Beta” APK safe?
No download route can guarantee that every file is malware-free or will work. For a lower-risk installation, use Google Play or the official PUBG Mobile Lite website. An APK archive can preserve older files and provide metadata, but it is still a third-party source; a beta label is not proof of a publisher-approved build. APKMirror’s signature report concerns its specific archived 0.24.0 files, not every file using the same name.
- Avoid APKs advertised with “Unlimited UC,” free skins, “anti-ban,” no recoil, aim assist, VIP access, or mod menus. These claims are warning signs for altered software, credential theft, or other security risks.
- Never enter your Tencent, Google, Facebook, or other social-login password into a download site.
- Do not install modded or repacked game clients, cheats, plug-ins, or unauthorized tools. Tencent’s agreement prohibits unauthorized modifications and third-party software and says access to the service may be limited or withdrawn.
Can Lite play with the full PUBG Mobile game?
No. The official PUBG Mobile Lite FAQ describes Lite as an independent game: Lite players cannot play with users of the full PUBG Mobile client. The FAQ also says the games do not share accounts and do not support transfers between them.

Is there an iPhone version?
The cited official FAQ says PUBG Mobile Lite did not have an iOS version at the time that page was published. That is not a newly verified announcement of platform availability in 2026. The official source cited here is the PUBG Mobile Lite FAQ.
Should you install 0.24.0 today?
For a normal installation, use the official route and install whichever version it currently offers for your device and region. Consider 0.24.0 only if you have a specific reason to use that older build and understand that it may not update or connect to the current service. Do not remove a guest-account installation until you have secured access to the account and its progress.
