The Ravens listed the outside linebacker as out on their final injury report, and he did not practice Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Coach Jesse Minter described the expected absence as “very, very short-term,” but the team has not announced a return date.
Why is Trey Hendrickson out against the Titans?
The Ravens said Hendrickson had a procedure to fix his finger after playing the previous two games with the injury. Team coverage reported that he broke the finger in Baltimore’s season opener. The team has not identified which finger was hurt or provided a more specific diagnosis or medical description of the procedure.
He was ruled out after missing every practice session during the week. Baltimore’s final injury report lists him as out with a finger injury.
When could Hendrickson return?
Minter offered a short-term outlook, not a firm timetable. “We think it will be very, very short-term,” he said Friday, according to the Associated Press. He added that getting the finger fixed and Hendrickson back was best for the team moving forward.

Neither the Ravens nor the AP report names a target game or a specific return date. The coach’s expectation should not be read as confirmation that Hendrickson will play in Baltimore’s next game.
What does his absence mean for the Ravens?
Baltimore signed Hendrickson in the offseason to strengthen its pass rush, and the team describes him as a top pass rusher. The immediate confirmed consequence is that he will be unavailable against Tennessee. The reporting does not quantify how his absence will affect the defense or identify a replacement plan.
