Rayman Adventures was a free-to-download Ubisoft platformer with optional in-app purchases, but that description is historical: AppBrain reports that the Android game was removed from Google Play on December 30, 2022. Archived APKs remain findable, yet installing one does not guarantee the game will work fully because players report problems with features that depend on online services.
What was Rayman Adventures?
Released for Android and iOS in 2015, Rayman Adventures was a mobile platformer built around exploration, collectible creatures, and a progression system tied to the Sacred Tree. Ubisoft’s original announcement described multiple paths through levels, Incrediballs to collect, and a presentation targeting 60 frames per second.
Rayman and Barbara explore different worlds, gathering eggs and other collectibles while facing enemies and challenges. Incrediballs could be cared for and used in music and beatbox interactions; finding more helped grow the Sacred Tree, which served as a progression system. It was an exploration-focused platformer, not simply a straight auto-runner.
Was the game really free?
Yes. Archived app information describes Rayman Adventures as free to download and play, while warning that some items could be bought with real money. The game was free-to-play rather than a paid app: the initial download did not cost money, but “free” did not mean that the game had no monetization. The archived listing does not establish a complete, reliable catalog of purchases or prices, so specific item costs or claims about what purchases unlocked should not be assumed.

The archived listing also said in-app purchases could be disabled through device settings. That is a historical notice, not a guarantee that purchase controls or payment features remain usable in an installation today. The archived 3.9.95 listing includes the purchase warning and settings note.
Is Rayman Adventures still on Google Play?
There is no reliable current Google Play availability established here. AppBrain’s third-party tracking page marks the app unavailable and reports a removal date of December 30, 2022; this is AppBrain’s record, not a published Google or Ubisoft delisting notice. The game’s historical Android distribution is documented in Ubisoft’s 2015 release materials, but an old search result or store link should not be mistaken for a working install option. AppBrain’s app record identifies the package as com.ubisoft.raymanadventures.

A person who installed the game previously might still see it in a device or account library, depending on the account, device, and store behavior. That exception does not make it a currently supported or generally available Google Play download.
Can an APK archive restore the game?
APKMirror archives historical builds, including version 3.9.95. Its listing identifies that build as released February 10, 2022, with Android 4.4 or newer shown as the minimum requirement; it lists ARMv7 and ARM64 variants and a file size of about 38.67 MB for the displayed release variant. These are archive metadata, not a promise of compatibility with current Android phones or proof that the game’s services still work. See the 3.9.95 archive entry.

An archived APK is not an official current Google Play distribution, and sideloading carries practical risks. A file may fail to install, conflict with an existing copy or save, or launch but fail when it tries to load content. An archive’s signature information can help identify a package, but it is not a blanket safety guarantee. Avoid modified, cracked, or “unlocked” builds, and do not assume purchases, cloud saves, or account recovery will work.

It helps to separate three questions: whether a file can be found, whether the app launches, and whether the full game remains playable. An archived build addresses only the first question; a successful launch addresses only the second. Neither establishes that every level or progression feature will work.

Players have reported that progression can stop when the game needs online interaction, including around egg hatching or moving beyond early content. Those accounts are anecdotal rather than an official Ubisoft service-status statement. Ubisoft has published a general notice about decommissioning some older online services, but that notice does not specifically name Rayman Adventures; it is not evidence of a confirmed shutdown date for this game. Accordingly, treat Rayman Adventures as a discontinued legacy release, not a dependable offline game or actively supported Android title. Its exact behavior may vary by build, device, and the point at which the app requires remote services.
Is there a current Rayman alternative on Android?
Rayman Legends Retold is a separate project, not a mobile relaunch of Rayman Adventures. Ubisoft’s announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, GeForce Now, Blacknut, and PC storefronts; it does not list Android or Google Play. Other Android platformers may offer a similar broad genre, but games such as Jungle Adventures and Jungle Adventures 3 are separate products by another developer, not official Rayman substitutes. Their Google Play listings are Jungle Adventures and Jungle Adventures 3.
