If you redeemed a Roblox gift card and see no new Robux, first check Roblox Credit in a web browser. Roblox says redeemed gift-card value is stored as credit; you may need to use that credit to buy Robux. Also make sure you are signed in to the account where you redeemed the card.
1. Make sure you are checking the right Roblox account
In a browser, sign in to the account where you entered the gift-card code. If you redeemed it while signed in to another account, the value will not appear in the account you are checking now. Roblox’s missing Robux guidance also recommends verifying the account associated with a purchase.
2. Look for Roblox Credit on the web
Roblox states, “After redeeming a gift card, your balance is stored as Roblox Credit.” Check the gift-card redemption page or Billing Settings. On the redemption page, look for Available Credit below the Redeem button; in Billing Settings, look beside the Roblox Credit line.
Credit is not shown on every account page and cannot be viewed or used in Roblox mobile apps. Check it in a browser, even if you normally play on a phone or console.
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
3. Use the credit to get Robux
If credit appears, return to the redemption page and select Get Robux to choose an available Robux package. If the remaining credit is not enough for a package, the page may offer Convert Credit to Robux. After buying or converting, refresh the page or navigate to another page to see the updated Robux balance.
The credit-to-Robux step is separate from redeeming the card, so a successful card redemption does not always mean Robux will immediately appear in the balance.

4. Check your Robux balance and transaction history
Roblox explains where to find the Robux balance in the mobile app, browser, and Xbox app. In a browser, select the Robux amount and open My Transactions. The Currency Purchases filter shows Robux purchase history and can help you check whether a purchase was posted. It does not identify the status of a specific account issue by itself.
5. Check whether the card type or redemption method changes the next step
- Roblox Credit is visible: Use Get Robux or Convert Credit to Robux as available on the redemption page.
- No credit is visible: Confirm the account and contact Roblox Support if the redemption or purchase still is not reflected.
- The card is marked Robux-only: Some card types do not add Roblox Credit. Roblox says Amazon Gift Cards and Party Packs Gift Cards are redeemable for Robux only.
Roblox’s standard redemption route is Roblox.com/redeem in a web browser. Standard Roblox mobile apps and consoles do not support gift-card redemption; Samsung Galaxy users are an exception with an app redemption flow. Roblox says codes can be redeemed worldwide, with value converted to the account’s local currency. The U.S. gift-card terms distinguish standard credit cards from specially marked Robux-denominated cards; that distinction is specific to those U.S. terms and should not be assumed for every country.

6. Contact Roblox Support if the value is still missing
If you cannot find credit or the redemption failed, use the Roblox Support flow. Roblox’s gift-card help page asks for details such as:
- Username or usernames involved
- Purchase date and amount, store or place of purchase, and city
- Country of residence
- Card PIN and serial number
- A receipt image and images of the front and back of a physical card, or the full e-gift card
- A screenshot of any redemption error
For a missing Robux purchase, Roblox’s missing-product guidance also requests the username, device, purchase date, product purchased, and a screenshot or forwarded copy of the purchase receipt, such as the confirmation email. Submit card PINs, serial numbers, and receipts only through the official support channel. Roblox says it does not provide gift-card refunds.

Roblox says a successful redemption displays a confirmation message after credit or an item is added. If the code was rejected, check for characters that can be mistaken for one another: 0/O, 1/I, 2/Z, 5/S, 6/G or Q, and 8/B. Roblox’s gift-card guidance also says multiple cards can be redeemed one at a time.
