The REDMAGIC 10 series was unveiled in China on November 13, 2024, at 3 p.m. Beijing time. The event introduced the REDMAGIC 10 Pro and REDMAGIC 10 Pro+—not a separately named standard REDMAGIC 10. Chinese sales followed on November 18, while the international REDMAGIC 10 Pro rollout began in December 2024.
What “unveiling date” meant
REDMAGIC confirmed the November 13, 2024 date after teasing a new full-screen gaming phone and opening reservations in China. Because the event took place at 3 p.m. Beijing time, it fell on November 12 in parts of North America.
This was a China unveiling, not a simultaneous worldwide retail launch. The announcement, product sales, shipping, and international availability were separate milestones.
Contemporaneous reports from GizmoChina and Ceppek covered the date and the pre-launch teasers.

The December dates were reported by TechRadar and should not be confused with the November China unveiling.
Which phones were announced?
The China event produced two main models: the REDMAGIC 10 Pro and REDMAGIC 10 Pro+. “REDMAGIC 10” is useful shorthand, but it can incorrectly suggest that a separate, lower-tier standard model was announced.
Both phones targeted mobile gamers with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, high-refresh-rate displays, gaming controls, stereo speakers, gaming software, and active cooling.

The headline design: a hole-free display
The most visible feature was the 10 Pro series’ full-screen front with no conventional punch-hole camera. REDMAGIC used an under-display selfie camera to preserve an uninterrupted gaming display.
This was an evolution of the REDMAGIC 9 Pro approach rather than an entirely new direction for the brand. The pre-launch announcement image emphasized the narrow bezels and cutout-free panel.

- Touch sampling: Up to 960Hz.
- Brightness: Up to 2,000 nits, a manufacturer or product-specification claim rather than an independent measurement.
- Battery: 7,050mAh combined capacity from a dual-cell battery.
- Charging: Charging specifications varied by market and configuration. Chinese launch coverage reported an 80W charger, while the international product listing advertises an 80W GaN charger and support for up to 100W fast charging.
- Cooling: REDMAGIC’s ICE-X liquid-metal active-cooling system, supported by a built-in fan.
- Design: A flat rear panel without a conventional camera bump.
Some of these figures appeared in leaks before the event. Earlier reports mentioning a roughly 7-inch, 144Hz display and a battery around 7,050mAh should be treated as pre-launch reporting; the final specifications are covered in GizmoChina’s launch report. Cooling and gaming-performance language should likewise be read as manufacturer claims unless supported by independent testing.

These are Chinese-market launch prices, not U.S. or global retail prices. Direct currency conversion ignores taxes, import costs, warranty coverage, regional configurations, and seller margins.

The phones were aimed primarily at performance-first mobile gamers: people who value a high-refresh-rate screen, shoulder controls, a large battery, a flagship Snapdragon chip, and active cooling more than a conventional phone design.

However, a gaming-focused phone may be a weaker fit for camera-first buyers, users who need straightforward carrier and warranty support, or anyone seeking a small, understated handset. An active fan can also introduce noise, openings, and mechanical complexity, while the large battery and cooling hardware can affect ergonomics.

Availability now
The unveiling is historical: it happened on November 13, 2024, rather than being a newly announced 2026 event. Availability is region-specific and can change. In the research-period check dated August 16, 2026, the official Singapore store showed the REDMAGIC 10 Pro at S$939, reduced from S$999, but the listed configurations were marked sold out. Check the official global product page for current stock instead of assuming that an old launch listing remains orderable.
REDMAGIC also sells a separate REDMAGIC 10 Air in some markets. It is a lower-cost member of the broader family, not an equivalent replacement for the 10 Pro series. Compatible accessories, including VC Coolers, cases, screen protectors, and gamepads, should be checked against the specific phone model.
Bottom line
The important date was November 13, 2024: REDMAGIC unveiled the 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ in China. China sales followed on November 18, and the international 10 Pro rollout came later in December. The series’ main attractions were its Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, 144Hz hole-free display, large dual-cell battery, and active cooling—but regional availability, software, network bands, charging hardware, and warranty support matter as much as the headline specifications.
