RedMagic showed the 10 Pro series’ design on November 11, 2024, ahead of its China launch two days later. The reveal paired a nearly uninterrupted display and flat, camera-bump-free rear with a pre-launch AnTuTu result of 3,116,126 points for the higher-end RedMagic 10 Pro+. That was a reported benchmark result, not a guarantee of everyday or sustained gaming performance; a separate post-launch run scored 3,102,960.
What RedMagic revealed before launch
The November 11 reveal confirmed the exterior, not the full product range, pricing or regional availability. RedMagic showed black and white versions identified in contemporary coverage as Dark Knight and Day Warrior. Both had a flat front and rear, a broad display with an under-display selfie camera, and no conventional raised camera island. The back carried REDMAGIC and X branding with geometric detailing; selected finishes added transparent-style elements and gaming-oriented lighting. The flat metal frame housed gaming controls on the sides.
The look refined the previous generation’s flat-back design rather than abandoning it. The under-display camera and slim-looking borders helped keep the front clear for games, while the restrained rear could look more conventional when its lighting was off. The headline figure was 3,116,126, attributed to a RedMagic 10 Pro+ before its official introduction. PhoneArena later reported another run at 3,102,960. Those are two results from separate runs, not conflicting versions of one fixed score. The latter report compared the result with a contemporary OnePlus 13 score of 2,926,644. The record claim therefore belongs to a particular November 2024 AnTuTu result and comparison context—not to every retail phone, every benchmark version, or the present-day market. AnTuTu combines several kinds of synthetic workload into a score. It can indicate strong peak performance, but it does not tell you how smoothly a particular game runs after an hour, whether frame rates remain stable as the phone heats up, or how the device handles cameras, battery life, software support or network reception. Results can shift with firmware, benchmark version, ambient temperature, battery state and performance mode. A pre-release score may also reflect a particular setup; it is not a promise that every owner will reproduce it.
What powers the score—and the gaming focus
The Chinese 10 Pro series paired Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite—listed at up to 4.32GHz in launch coverage—with LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 Pro storage. RedMagic also built in a dedicated gaming chip and a cooling system combining composite liquid metal, large thermal-spreading components and an active centrifugal fan rated up to 23,000rpm. Capacitive shoulder triggers were specified with 520Hz touch sampling. Together, that hardware explains why RedMagic emphasized both benchmark peaks and play sessions, though the score alone cannot establish sustained superiority.
At launch, Qualcomm/platform performance claims included up to 45% better performance and 52% lower peak power consumption versus the previous generation. Those are claimed comparisons, not independent measurements of every workload. In AnTuTu’s review, a 24GB/1TB Pro+ test unit ran Zenless Zone Zero for 30 minutes; the reviewer recorded maximum temperatures of 38.6°C on the front and 36.4°C on the rear. That is a useful example of one test, not a universal temperature guarantee across games, environments or devices. The active fan may help manage heat, but it also adds moving parts and can be audible.
Display and features aimed at play
Chinese launch specifications listed a 6.85-inch, 1.5K display with a refresh rate up to 144Hz and peak brightness up to 2,000 nits. The under-display front camera preserves an uninterrupted-looking screen, while the 520Hz-sampling shoulder triggers provide physical-style inputs without taking up the center of the display. The phone also retained a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers. These are gaming-oriented choices; they do not make the phone compact or guarantee that every game supports high refresh rates or trigger mapping.

Launch coverage also listed two 50MP rear cameras and a 2MP auxiliary camera, plus NFC, an infrared remote, Wi-Fi, 5G and dual-SIM support for the China-market series. Megapixel counts alone do not establish camera quality: the 10 Pro family is built around gaming performance and cooling, not a claim to lead in mobile photography. China-market Pro versus Pro+
The Pro+ that generated the benchmark headline was a China-market model. At launch, its main advantages over the standard Chinese Pro were a larger battery, faster charging and higher memory/storage configurations. Prices below are Chinese launch prices, not current prices or direct conversions into another market’s retail pricing.

Both models shared the series’ Snapdragon platform, gaming-led design and core display approach. The Pro+’s larger battery and charging ceiling, plus its top-end configurations, are material distinctions; “Plus” does not mean the benchmark score describes every 10 Pro model. Do not assume the China Pro+ is the global REDMAGIC 10 Pro
RedMagic’s later global product was marketed as the REDMAGIC 10 Pro, not simply as an internationally interchangeable Pro+. The official global page presents a 7,050mAh battery and charging language that differs from the China Pro+’s up-to-120W specification: it lists an 80W GaN charger and describes up to 100W fast charging. Regional model names, firmware, network-band support, included adapters, warranty and after-sales service can differ. Check the official listing for the country where you will use and buy the phone rather than transferring China-market specifications to a global unit.

RedMagic announced the global 10 Pro in December 2024, with early access beginning December 17 and open sales December 18. The official US product page and international product page show regional configurations and availability. The dossier’s August 2026 snapshot showed differing price and stock signals between those pages; such details change, so check the relevant store directly. It did not establish a current official US sales channel for a China-market Pro+.
What the reveal and record mean for a buyer
The RedMagic 10 Pro series makes the clearest case for players who value high peak performance, an active fan, a large high-refresh-rate screen, physical gaming triggers, substantial battery capacity and a headphone jack. The flat back avoids a prominent camera bump, but the large size, weight and fan make it a less obvious choice for someone seeking a compact, quiet all-purpose phone. Buyers prioritizing photography, long-term software support or broad regional support should verify those needs separately; the benchmark result says nothing about them.
Most importantly, buying decisions hinge on the exact regional model. The China Pro+ offers the 120W charging specification and configurations tied to that market, while the global product is sold as the 10 Pro with different charging language. Confirm the model number, supported bands, firmware, charger, warranty and retailer before importing or ordering. The 3.1-million score is an impressive snapshot of the Pro+’s peak synthetic performance in November 2024; cooling, controls, display and regional fit matter more when deciding whether it is the right gaming phone.
